On the day right after Lu’s ninth birthday, Siwang accidently falls into the water when trying to save a puppy, and disappears from Lu’s life since then. But the magic happens because of love. Siwang mysteriously gains an “extra life” to be with his daughter: he transforms into a dog and returns to Lu, who has become an adult with a very different personality, now going through tons of crises in both her career and marriage. Even as a dog, Siwang will try the best in his way to protect his dearest darling.
