2023 / 1 hr 59 minIn celebration of Godzilla Minus One, opening in Japan November 1st, 2023, Shin Godzilla (2016) will get a special re-release. A black & white cut of the film, re-titled Shin Godzilla: ORTHOchromatic, will get a limited screening in Japan at the end of October. Shin Godzilla is one of the top four films Godzilla Minus One director Takashi Yamazaki has picked for screenings leading up to his film. Special guest Hideaki Anno, director of Shin Godzilla, will also be in attendance for the October 27th screening in Japan. He previously picked Ghidorah: The Three Headed Monster (1964) since it was the first Godzilla film his father took him to see. He also picked the 1954 original.
