Leonardo Pirondi

His films explore the multiple derived versions of reality through the use of narrative, experimental, and documentary modes. Much of his work examines the sociopolitical unfoldings of the intersection between imagination, science, myth, and technology. His films have screened internationally, including Athens International Film + Video Festival, Festival de Cine Contemporáneo Cámara Lúcida, Brooklyn Film Festival, REDCAT, Festival ECRÃ, San Diego Underground, and Milwaukee Underground. He received his BFA from the California Institute of the Arts, where he also is an MFA candidate in the Film/Video program.
