Somewhere in England, Paul Daniels has hidden the most valuable, most special object imaginable. Will the studio audience, aided by special guest star Anneka Rice, be able to find it by the end of this evening's programme ? As they attempt to do so, he also introduces his studio guests: from America, the striking young mime magician Jeff McBride, returning to the show by popular demand and from Italy, bicyclists extraordinary, The Boginos.
Paul Daniels, in the company of his special guests Dame Vera Lynn and Wynford Vaughan Thomas, travels to the Cabinet War Rooms in Whitehall to present a special magic tribute to Sir Winston Churchill, and introduces his remarkable studio guests from the USA: Danuta, the spider goddess with her thrilling aerial display and Meir Yedid bringing a new meaning to 'sleight-of-hand'. Special guest appearance by ballet star Graham Fletcher.
In this week's show Paul returns to Longleat to become the first magician in recorded history to present outdoors the full authentic version of the Indian rope trick, and from the studio introduces the unusual ballistic skills of the American comedy magic star Ricky Jay, and from Czechoslovakia the hilarious acrobatics of the Sinekos.
