New Zealand's Next Top Model
2009New Zealand's Next Top Model is a New Zealand reality television series in which a number of young women compete for the title of New Zealand's Next Top Model and the chance to start their career in the modeling industry. The show's format was originally created by American talk-show host and model Tyra Banks. The New Zealand series is hosted by former model and 62 Models Management founder Sara Tetro, and airs on TV3 NZ. The winner of NZNTM wins a modelling contract with Sara's agency. Like its American counterpart, NZNTM features a photographer and international model on its judging panel, Chris Sisarich and Colin Mathura-Jeffree, respectively. Mathura-Jeffree also acts as runway coach to the girls, much like Miss Jay on America's Next Top Model.

Cycle Three begins with 33 hopefuls from all over the country invited to the Bay of Islands. Tensions rise when only 20 girls survive the elimination, but only 13 will make it back to the top model house in Auckland.
The aspiring models are treated to a makeover and then show off their dramatic new looks at their first commercial shoot.
With the help of a special guest, Colin teaches the girls how to be outstanding on the catwalk. Later, fashion photographer Tony Drayton challenges them to 'shine' in their first group shot.
The girls hit the studio in a crazy lesson that has them utilising props to sell a lifestyle. Later, the girls finish off their week with a hot photo shoot photo shoot, where they are not alone!
The girls take a trip down country, where their wool handling skills are tested. Later, the photo-shoot takes them to the home of one of NZ's most iconic films. And the blows keep coming at elimination.
The girls are treated to a photo shoot with a twist, before a surprise dinner guest and a vibrant photo shoot has them working with more elements than many can handle.
Nine ecstatic girls have made it this far but in a week all about facing their fears, many will have a nightmare as they struggle to leap outside of their comfort zone.
The girls race the clock in a 'red carpet' challenge. This is followed by a photo shoot with one of NZ's top comedians. And a tough elimination sees only seven girls heading for an exciting destination.
With only seven girls remaining, it's time to take a look back over the first eight episodes of the season. Featuring never-before-seen footage as well as extended scenes of the girls at work and play.
The girls experience a shock announcement before their adventure abroad. After reaching their destination, they 'sweat it out' in a fitness lesson. Later, they experience their toughest photo shoot yet.
Continuing with their Abu Dhabi adventure, the five remaining girls try to impress one of the world's top bookers; this is followed by an exciting casting challenge with an Emirates designer.
Back in Auckland, the final four try to impress some of NZ's most influential designers. Later, the week closes with a photo shoot that has one girl quivering, while another's dream begins to unravel.
