The Graveyard Gang's peaceful home in a cemetery is threatened when the Tornado Troop scavengers trespass, leading to a scrap between alpha males. Meanwhile, females come into season for a single day, and a vulnerable youngster encounters a predator.
An insight into the Tornado Troop family of ring-tails, and the constant battle for dominance both internally and with the other gang. Unlike the Graveyards, they are a dysfunctional and self-centred bunch, and a five-month-old baby lemur is left to lead a life blighted by loneliness, violence and neglect that could end in tragedy.
The Graveyard Gang faces three rival male lemurs looking for mates, and Blake, the troop's dominant male, prepares for battle. In the chaos that follows, the ring-tails fail to notice six-month-old Hogarth wandering off alone, becoming lost and facing the prospect of a night alone in the wilderness.
The lemurs face the hardship of the Madagascan winter, and tensions grow among the Tornado Troop. Group leader Electra is forced into exile by aggressive subordinate Amazon, and with a baby on the way and her position increasingly isolated, her survival depends on the mercy of her former gang.
The two families struggle for survival as the winter drought intensifies, and with resources scarce they find themselves clashing over valuable territory. With the groups at war, exiled Tornado Troop leader Electra makes a desperate attempt to join the rival Graveyard Gang, putting herself at risk when the confrontation heats up.
Madagascar continues to face its worst drought in decades, but as two troops resume their desperate search for food, the Graveyard Gang find themselves wandering far from home. Stranded overnight in unfamiliar territory and forced to flee a forest fire, the family face a crisis as one member goes missing.
