Surgeon Kazuaki Okita (Takuya Kimura) has returned from Seattle, USA to the Danjo Memorial Hospital in Tokyo for the first time in 10 years.

Okita (Takuya Kimura) decided to stay at the Danjo Memorial Hospital for surgery in the middle of winter (Yuko Takeuchi) at the request of the magnificent (Tadanobu Asano ) . Okita thinks about the seriousness of the medical condition in midwinter.
