London's Burning is a British television drama programme produced by London Weekend Television for the ITV network that focused on the lives of members of the London Fire Brigade, principally those of the Blue Watch at a fictional fire station called Blackwall. It was broadcast between 1988 and 2002 in the United Kingdom and was shown in Canada on digital television station CBC Country Canada. In the UK, Discovery's entertainment channel, DMAX have also shown repeats of the later series, mainly 11 through 14.

Blue Watch seems to be thriving under station officer Mick Callahan. Recall plans his retirement, but there is something the he has kept a secret.
The Watch mourn Recall's death and an internal inquiry is launched. Elaine decides to go through with the plans that she and Recall had but has fears for Adam's future.
A new recruit arrives and Mooney begins his bid for leadership. Mick finds himself increasingly torn between his lover for his wife and family and his feelings for Sally.
Mooney steps up his efforts to be the Watch's true leader, while new recruit Craig is eager to be tested on the fire ground, on attending his first fire though he is terrified.
Mick confesses to Adam that he knew about Recall's illness and confronts Sally with the claim that she slept with Mooney. Shauna's mood swings become more extreme.
On a family trip to Southend the Watch makes an unusaual discovery and relationships between Mick, Shauna, Mooney and Sally come to a head
