Hosted by hip-hop superstar Common, ‘Framework’ is a new arc competition series exploring the compelling world of furniture design/construction. It’s not enough to design an eye-catching, unique AND functional piece of furniture, these 13 elite furniture craftsman have to build it too. The clock is ticking and the stakes are sky-high as the last competitor standing will receive an incredible prize package including the ability to launch their own line with a major furniture brand.
Seasons & Episode
The 13 innovative builders embark on their 10-week journey as their overall abilities are tested and they are given 24 hours to use materials from broken down boats to create phenomenal pieces of furniture.
One builder gets the power and puts everyone on blast; working in teams causes chaos leaving one team with a pile of pieces to show.
One builder plays dirty and his cutthroat strategy may backfire when builders have to work with crazy materials; judges are horrified by major mistakes during inspection.
One builder plays dirty when they must work in teams; the judges make the builders an offer they cannot refuse; a piece falls apart turning teammates into enemies.
Builders take on beds and there is no time for rest; underdogs assign teams, causing confrontation; the builders' fate is in the hands of everyday customers.
Builders are put to the durability test when their furniture must stand the test of time; tempers flare and an outrageous elimination shocks everyone.
The builders create pieces for Common; an underdog in power is determined to earn respect; amateur errors infuriate teammates and lead to a controversial elimination.
Builders must use chainsaws to transform tree trunks into furniture; tensions soar as the finale comes near and one builder cracks.
The four remaining builders must construct adjustable desks and prove that their furniture fits in at CB2.
The last three builders fight for a prize package; former competitors return and massive mistakes could cost the win.
