1986Jacko (Karl Howman) is a painter and decorator with an eye for the ladies. He works with Eric (Mike Walling), who's married to his sister Jean (Nicky Croydon). The painting and decorating firm they work for is owned by Lionel Bainbridge (Gary Waldhorn). Other characters include Lionel's wife, Veronica (Elizabeth Counsell), his daughter Lelsey (Kim Thomson, later Erika Hoffman) and wine bar owner Elmo Putney (Howard Lew Lewis).
Seasons & Episode
Everybody goes to Giles and Gloria's country mansion. Veronica and Marcello return to Leslie's dismay. Mr. Morella tells Jacko that he cannot Lucia as she is to marry somebody else. Paulette convinces Elmo to buy her a country house.
Everybody else can see that Paulette is continuing to be a gold digger but Elmo is blind to it. Eventually Elmo sees Paulette with another man and he sends her away. Veronica is very happy with Marcello but she has become distracted.
Jean and Eric announce that they are expecting another baby. Sandra and Jimmy have a row and they break up. Veronica announces that Marcello is moving in with her, which upsets Leslie. Jacko helps a woman in distress and then dates her.
Giles and Gloria are in London and organise a party at Elmo's. Everybody goes to the party to try and cheer up. Jacko new girlfriend plays for a soccer team but he breaks up with her because she is more interest in football than him.
Elmo buys a camera and Jacko suggests that Elmo make a promotional video for the wine bar. Jacko convinces everybody to participate but the results is not very good. Jacko talks Elmo into changing his mind.
Eric and Jean decide to move house and Jacko is upset. Elmo offers to let Jacko stay at his place. Veronica accepts Marcello's marriage proposal. They intend to live in Sicily and so Veronica is going to sell the business.
