1984 / TV-Y7Dragon's Lair is a short-lived television cartoon series by Ruby-Spears Productions based on the 1983 video game of the same name. Thirteen half-hour episodes were produced from 1984–1985, airing on ABC. Between the late '80s and the early '90s, the show was rerun on the USA Cartoon Express, and has also aired on Boomerang.

It's Daphne's birthday, and Dirk has nothing to give her, but Singe engineers a plot where Dirk finds a statue of a giant golden bird to give as his gift. At Daphne's birthday party, the statue comes to life and carries her off to the Dragon's Lair.
There's a big tournament at King Ethelred's castle but an evil stranger interupts the proceedings.

Singe uses a magical mirror to transform himself into a Dirk doppelganger and terrorizes the countryside. Sir Dirk must stop Singe and clear his good name.
In a dark forest Dirk plans to explore some legendary hidden ruins, not realizing he would soon be embarking on a very strange and cold journey.
On the isle of Narg, Lord Narg and his trolls plan to prepare war on the mainland by using magic wood to build an invincible war machine.
In his latest plot against King Ethelred's kingdom, Singe awakens the last of the Ardu Giants by saying his real name.
Sir Dirk and Sir Blunt set out on a mission to get Singe's sword from the heart of the Dragon's Lair.
