Surawisesa, a noble youth, one of the 16 year old sons of Sri Baduka Maharaja Prabu Siliwangi, was determined to steal a sacred ancient book so that he could absorb its knowledge in order to defeat the supernatural powers of Raden Kian Santang, his second brother, a 17 year old youth. While fleeing to the hiding place, Surawisesa was intercepted a beautiful foreign woman who wants to seize the book.

So the rundown surau was flooded with water. The lighting is very minimal. Only 1 old oil lamp attached. The surau is on the edge of a river/rice field among towering bamboo trees.
