The tonkatsu keeps getting better with Baek Jong-won's help, but somehow the fried tonkatsu keeps getting soggy. He suggests the owner go to learn with the master of tonkatsu in Jeju island. Baek Jong won tastes all the sauces the sandwich shop owners came up with. Geum Sae-rok addresses a problem with the burger restaurant, and Baek Jong-won tests the new burger menus.
Tonkatsu shop owner decides to close his shop and go to Jeju island to learn with the master. Kwak Dong-yeon evaluates the hamburger restaurant. Baek Jong-won invents all meat, all vege sandwichs for the sandwich restaurant.
Tonkatsu owner solves the soggy tonkatsu problem. Hamburger and sandwich restaurants prepare for their final evaluation.
34th alley: Supsongmaeul Alley, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Three restaurants that will be joining are Monkfish & Cod Jjim restaurant that has butter as their secret ingredient, Visual Pasta restaurant, and Spicy Pho restaurant.
Baek Jong-won evaluates the Pho restaurant's special dish. The hosts compares famous monkfish jjim restaurants. Visual Pasta restaurant has a competition with the previous pasta restaurant from Gildong that was on the show.
Pasta restaurant decides on a new direction after their competition. Monkfish restaurant develops a new sauce. Pho restaurant refines their new special menu.
Girls Generation Yuri and Hyoyeon evaluates the new pasta menus. The pho broth still tastes heavy. THe monkfish restaurant makes a new sauce based on Baek Jong-won's suggestions.
35th alley: Seokbadae Alley in Hanam, Gyeonggi province. The alley used to be the centre of the area. Now, because of subway shopping areas were developed, there are not as much people. The restaurants that will be joining in this alley is the Chuncheon-style dakgalbi restaurant, meat noodle restaurant, and mother-and-daughter snack house.
Baek Jong-won calls the owner of the Chuncheon dakgalbi restaurant back without even first tasting the dish. The meat noodle restaurant gets it's first evaluation. Mother and daughter restaurant decides to change their menu to only kimbab, and comes up with five unique kimbabs for Baek Jong-won and the Sparrows to try.
Baek Jong-won finally tastes Chuncheon-style dakgalbi after two weeks of cleaning the restaurant, but later finds something about the restaurant owner from the staff. After deciding to change their menu, the mother and daughter team tries making 90 kimbabs as fast as they can.
The Jeju meat noodle restaurant tries serving two different broths to see which ones customers would like better. Jadu, singer of the famous Kimbap song, comes to taste the improved kimbap menus.
The dakgalbi restaurant finishes the new sauce, and strict evaluators come for the final evaluation of the restaurant. The meat noodle restaurent is ready to re-open. The kimbap restaurant receive their first customers.
Instead of revitalizing back alleys, why not create new ones? 8 out of 50 teams were chosen to be evaluated to become one of 4 new business owners in Geumak village, Jeju island.
The contestants continue with their first evaluation mission: cooking their signature menu for Baek Jong-won.
The contestants are tasked with selling every item within 30 minutes.
Contestant Ryu Ik-ha drops out of the competition before the last mission. The remaining contestants will compete by imitating or improving the dishes served by Baek Jong-won to be the final 4 that gets to open their restaurants. The dishes are black pork bahn mi, black pork kimbap, black pork ramyun, and black pork dumplings.
The remaining 3 contestants compete in the evening round. The results are announced, and the four finalists chose their resetaurant location and their menu.
After the four finalists chose their shop location, signed the contract, chose their menu, and how they will renovate their new shop, their new restaurants are now ready to open. The final evaluation will be done by Baek Jong-won, along with disqualified contestants that live in Jeju island.
It's finally time to open the restaurants, but are the new restaurants owners ready for customers?
37th alley, Cheorwon. The three restaurants are beansprout gukbap restaurant, a shabu shabu restaurant with an unusual menu, and jeongol kalguksu restaurant.
Baek Jong-won continues the first evaluation with the half-chicken half-fried rice restaurant and the tomato stir-fried pork rice bowl restaurant. The cheese rice bowl restaurant owner presents her homework assignment to Baek Jong-won.
Students from the YKI Eating Group comes to taste the new menus at the cheese rice bowl restaurant. Meanwhile, the half-chicken half-fried rice owner has a secret consultation with Baek Jong-won while her husband cooks the improved dishes.
The Tomato restaurant changes the name of their menu, and opens to customers again. IVE members come to taste the improved Half-chicken Half-rice menus. Rapper Lee Young-ji evaluates the new cheese hot-pot dishes, and Baek jong-won comes in for the final evaluation on the tonkatsu sauce.
