Seasons & Episode
The first challenge of the season required the designers to create garment of their choosing to showcase who they are as a designer. No one was sent home, however Natalie and William (the bottom two) were required to compete head-to-head in the next challenge, with one of the two going home.
The designers were tasked with creating a sleek and sofisticated outfit made from materials purchased at The Reject Shop.
The challenge required the designers to create a commercial, white women's shirt and an accompanying outfit. The winning designer's white shirt would be featured in Madison Magazine and sold in Witchery stores in Australia, with proceeds going to ovarian cancer research.
This week the designers are taken to a construction site where Megan Gale and Alex Perry deliver the challenge. They must transform real life tradies with an on trend menswear look suitable for a night out on the town. Not only do they have to get the look right, they have to please their tradie too.Who can satisfy both their client and the judges?
The designers are treated to a night at the museum by Alex and discover that for their next challenge they will be working in teams. They are asked to create demi couture outfits inspired by what they have seen.
The seven remaining designers are taken the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, where they are told the materials for their next challenge are in the boots of the cars.
The designers are given the task of making dresses for seven lovely young ladies who are going to their school formal. But not everyone will have the same amount of money to spend on fabric for this challenge.
This week the designers get a taste of how it works in the real world when they are asked by one of Australia's leading stylists Nicole Bonython-Hines to design an outfit for her client.
The four remaining designers face their toughest challenge yet - they must create an exclusive, high-end outfit to be shot by celebrated photographer Georges Antoni.
It's now down to three finalists who have four months at home to create a collection for the final Runway show.
By winning last week's surprise challenge against Jordon, Christina gets a second shot at winning and earns the right to join Leah, Tristan and Jamie in the finale.
