The aspiring comedians will test what they’ve been shown in front of an audience, with one person being eliminated until only one remains. The winner will receive a cash prize and an online series for Wayans’ site WhatTheFunny.com.

Marlon Wayans welcomes 10 competitors and immediately issues their first challenge: performing comedy for tourists on a moving double-decker bus through the streets of Hollywood.
The nine players learn about the creation of funny videos, then perform sketches for a studio audience.
The comics must create funny characters in a dating-theme challenge. Round 2 tasks the comics to showcase their improvisational talents during hidden-camera pranks.
Guest mentor DeRay Davis coaches the comedians through their first challenge, the ultimate comedy snap rap battle. In the elimination challenge, they must compete in a no-holds-barred roast of TV and hip-hop star Ray J.
The comics must write funny songs and shoot companion videos.
The comics participate in on-the-street interviews. Also: The contestants develop stand-up routines for a show to be performed in front of tough bikers.
The comics must write and shoot a commercial parody to screen for funnyman Jamie Kennedy and a live audience. Later, they're tasked to create an animated short in just two days.
The three finalists must create and perform their own comedy show in the Season 1 finale.
