2008The Baby Borrowers is an American version of the The Baby Borrowers reality television show based on the British television series of the same name originally aired in 2007. The show features five couples aged between 18 and 20 who either believe that being parents is easy, or are divided upon the issue. They start off attempting to look after a baby for three days, before moving onto toddlers, pre-teens, teenagers and finally an elderly person. The show is produced by Love Productions, the same company that produces the original British version. On March 13, 2009, it was confirmed that the series had been canceled and would not be returning for a second season.
Seasons & Episode
All of the teen couples move into their new homes and set up. A package frustrates some parents, while brings others closer together. Then the babies arrive and the new teen parents have to figure out how to care for the babies. The women stay home while the men go shopping and tempers flare.
The teens are busy taking care of their babies while under the watch of the babies' parents. A surprise from home pleases some teens, while others are not pleased.
One of the couples throw a birthday party for toddlers while another couple tries to potty train their toddler. One of the teens decides she has had enough.
One of the couples host a party for all of the neighborhood children. Surprises left the couples' doorsteps cause chaos.
One of the couples face a tough decision. The young parents face a difficult family outing. Also, many teens disappear in the middle of the night.
The couples have to care for the elderly. This episode also features updates on the teens' lives.
Hoda Kotb hosts the reuniting of the series' participants and producers for a debate. Also, Dr. Drew Pinsky makes an appearance.
