Akane discovers recipes from her late mother, and a flood of beautiful memories return, all attached to her cooking. After Kasumi falls ill the next day, Akane is motivated to do more for the family. Unfortunately, her abilities as a chef fall far short of her abilities as a martial artist.
An ill wind blows toward Furinkan High School with the arrival of a new teacher, Hinako Ninomiya. Known for her ability to reform delinquent students, three schools have already bent to her iron will, and Furinkan High appears to be next!
Following a series of eat-and-runs around town, Akane meets the culprits-Natsume and Kurumi, two martial artist sisters who are wandering Japan in search of their long-lost martial artist father.
Following a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Natsume and Kurumi, Akane leaves the dojo, and Ranma begins to doubt his fighting abilities while in his female form. In a vacant lot, Akane trains in earnest, for the sake of her pride and for the honor of Anything Goes Martial Arts.
Akane is haunted by visions of a dramatic rescue she experienced as a child. These memories appear to be tied to a rustic place that has been in the news lately due to reports of a mysterious giant beast.
Akane has met her childhood rescuer and restored her memory from childhood after reuniting with Shinnosuke. Unfortunately, Shinnosuke has memory problems of his own. After sustaining mortal wounds as a child, he has become dependent on the healing “water of life” that comes from the forests of Ryugenzawa. But his damaged memory has been the one injury that cannot be cured.
The neighborhood association’s annual trip for the community is coming up, and this year’s organizers are Shampoo and Ukyo. The pair have arranged a trip to Harendo, the Cave of Lost Love-a cursed spot often visited by couples that is legendary for breaking them up
A thousand years ago, an evil ogre was sealed away in a box by a Monkey Priest. Temple priests have watched over the box since that day, but the seal that secured the box is now fading away. The current priest has reached out to Ranma, Genma and Soun to help him replace the seal. Unfortunately, the new seal is ruined, and the creature is released to wreak havoc once again
Ranma and the others pay a visit to a hot spring inn called Ningyo-kan, the House of Dolls. There is a legend at the inn about a mysterious doll called the Vengeful Doll. It looks like an ordinary Japanese doll, but when someone is rude to it or gets it dirty, it gets mad and takes revenge.
