A corpse symbolically placed on the border line of the bridge that connects Greece with Turkey, forces the Greek police officer Sofia Bakalis and the Turkish Kenan Karaman to undertake the case of the unusual murder. Very quickly, the two police officers realize that things are not so simple. Unsuspecting of the political forces involved and trying to solve the case, Sophia and Kenan will be in mortal danger, as the perpetrators do everything to hide an explosive secret. A crime on the Greek-Turkish border bridge brings the policepersons of the two countries, Sofia Bakali and Kenan Karaman, to an unprecedented spectacle. The case attracts the interest of the secret services and is classified as top secret.
The police investigation reveals an element that connects the doctor with Constantinople and with shipping companies. A key figure in the hands of a kidnapper becomes a lever of pressure for Sophia and Kenan, as a message on their cell phones leads them to the killer.
Sophia sees the killer without a mask. The involvement of the secret services worries Kenan and Sophia, while the Captain turns to an old collaborator for help. A killer hack subverts the data.
Sophia connects the doctor with the Captain and the shipping Candor Cargo. At the same time, he is looking for the flight attendant, who is in Aphrodite's sights. Kenan sees two Kalashnikov barrels pointing at him.
The Captain's body disappears, while Asli seeks asylum in the mosque of Athens. The facts lead Kenan and Sophia to conclude that they are involved in something very big. Magdalen calls Sophia home and suggests that she work for him.
An explosion in Renti changes the balance. An undercover agent reveals to Kenan that everything is linked to terrorist activity. In Greece, the case is now taken over by the Anti-terrorist and Magdalen removes Sophia from the investigations.
The meeting of Sophia and Aphrodite complicates the situation. Kenan realizes he's made a big mistake, but it's too late. A ship approaches the port of Piraeus.
Sophia is in danger. Trying to save her, Kenan and her team discover the true role of a person who has been with them all along. Aphrodite is led into a trap.
A flashback to the past sheds light on the beginning of the story, when from Khan's death Aphrodite was born.
