Baek Dong Joo, a newly hired funeral director, has the uncanny gift, or curse, to momentarily resurrect and talk to the recently deceased. She has to grant their last wishes or have her days be filled with a series of bad luck and accidents. And helping the little boy that first terrified her when he came to life will lead her down a path she never could have expected. Kim Tae Hee works as a man for hire. Employed by his uncle Vincent running the newly opened errand service company “A Dime A Job” he can be hired for any odd (but legal) task. One day, Kim Tae Hee encounters Baek Dong Joo, when he is hired by her boyfriend to break up with her in his stead. After that, their paths continue to cross, and by the virtue of their jobs, their fates get intertwined deeper and deeper in a series of life and death situations, surrounding the wishes of the people who had died, and the painful past it is going to unravel for both of them.

Baek Dong-joo, a funeral director meets Kim Jib-sa, an errand boy of the neighborhood. Dong-joo kicks Jib-sa in the shin and disappears all of a sudden after asking an odd job. What on earth is this woman?
Dong-joo and Jib-sa meets again at a funeral. Jib-sa tries to run away but Dong-joo stops him. There is no sign of easing between them.
Why are you in the closet? Ildangbaek is now in a serious trouble because of Dong-joo. Jib-sa is not sure if he can trust her or stop her.
Jib-sa seriously misunderstands Dong-joo after he encountered an unexpectedness in the mortuary. Meanwhile, Dong-joo tries all possible means to grant the dead wish.
It is one thing after another for Dong-joo to meet the dead clients. With her hands full, she was caught up with Jib-sa. Meanwhile, Tae-hee dwells on what Dong-joo said.
"You must be so lonely." These were Taehee’s words to Dongju’s story and after sharing a secret, the two become closer.
A girl shows up, her name is Chung-ha and she seems to have a long history with Tae-hee. Is she his first love?
It seems not just first love - Tae-hee is reminded of the terrible day two years ago when he met Chung-ha. Dong-joo strugles with their relationship.
