Seasons & Episode
Gethin Jones takes a closer look at the reasons why young drivers are such a menace on the roads as he goes out on patrol with police forces in Essex and Hull.
Gethin takes a closer look at the problem of speeding which causes more problems on the roads than anything else. He travels to Oulton Park where he experiences the thrill of driving at 120 mph. He then joins an Essex Police patrol out on the highway.
Gethin takes a closer look at the consequences that distracting driving habits such as talking on the phone, texting and checking a satnav can have.
Gethin finds out why lorries are among the biggest killers on our roads. He discovers that at some point two thirds of lorry drivers have reported feeling drowsy whilst driving and that nearly 20% have fallen asleep at the wheel. Gethin gets the chance to have a go in a lorry simulator after having just four hours sleep and finds that he soon learns that his driving is more dangerous than if he had been drunk.
