Lou uses his heavy Mario to secretly bid at the auction and drive away with a big win on a sleeper item. Robbie and Kathleen wonder whether they’ve blown up their profit when they battle it out for a high-end microscope. And, things get hairy for John with a lost bag.
Lou hopes he won’t be left to hang when he bids on an emergency rescue lanyard. John rolls the dice on a motorcycle exhaust with no part number. And, Robbie falls in love with an ancient-looking statue that could be worth its weight in gold or be as worthless as dust.
A promising bag rattles Robbie and Kathleen. Lou carves out some cash with a mystery box full of knives. And John’s “go big or go home” strategy nearly backfires when he struggles to find a home for a risky purchase.
John thinks he’s found the holy-grail in a lost bag but ends up with some loose change. Robbie and Kathleen take a chance on a mystery box of lost hotel and skeleton keys and try to unlock some profit. And, Lou gets an unexpected return on a lost bag with contents that are soft and dirty.
John knocks out Robbie to win a box of special f/x make-up that leaves him looking and feeling like a rock star – a dead rock star. Robbie and Kathleen bid on a lost golf bag they think will be a hole-in-one but are surprised by what they find inside. And, Lou steams ahead with a toy train and catalogues that leave him tooting his own horn.
Lou goes guns-a-blazin’ for a high-end computer system and hand delivers it to a buyer. Robbie and Kathleen take a wary trip to a funeral home to see if the money they spent on cremation urns will turn a profit or go up in smoke. And John bets big on a wild card and hopes he doesn’t get taken for a ride.
Lou takes a huge risk on a high-end luxury watch that the other dealers say smells like a fake. John uncovers a kinky pirate’s treasure. And, Robbie and Kathleen hope they’ve pulled a rabbit out of the hat by betting on a mystery magician’s box.
Mr. & Mrs. Hollywood don’t see eye-to-eye on strategy at the auction and get an, ‘I told you so’ ending. Lou proves that big risks can reap big rewards when he bids on a massive mystery crate that no one else will touch. And John flies high when a lost bag reveals unexpected apparel.
Things get personal when John and Kathleen go head-to-head over a lost t-shirt press that might not even press. Robbie gets nostalgic over a mystery box choc-a-bloc full of stamps. And the allure of lost luggage takes Lou into unchartered territory.
This week Lou focuses on his karma instead of his cash flow. Robbie and Kathleen catch a break with the jingly contents of a lost bag. And John shows his son, Jamie the ropes and scores big thanks to his ‘lucky charm’.
John hopes his research pays off when he bids big on an item that everyone else thinks is a tough sell. Robbie and Kathleen enlist an expert to crack the code on a luxury leather briefcase. And Lou hits the surf to find out whether his long board is a boom, a bust or a coffee table.
