This week the team of inventors are tasked with finding a solution for 28-year-old Rosie who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) 4 years ago which makes it difficult to draw and paint. Dr David McKeown is challenged with developing a fix that provides independence for a teenage boy who is wheelchair bound.
Some of Ireland's leading designers and innovators try to make life a little easier for Erin, who was born without arms, and Josh, who is non-verbal and has down's syndrome.
The experts help build a bike for a farmer who lost his legs in an accident, and offer life improvements for an incredibly fragile girl with butterfly syndrome and her parents.
Big Life Fix is back with rocket scientist David McKeown as he works with 17-year-old Eoghan Barry from Skiberreen. we also meet Roisin Foley, a 31-year-old single mother of three from Crumlin who has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
In the first episode, the team will try to provide a better quality of life to the 68-year-old grandmother, Jacinta Dixon, whose world has been torn apart by a rare form of Alzheimer’s. This fix is led by designer and innovator Lorna Ross who, during her 30-year career, has worked for some of the world’s biggest organisations, from the US Military to the prestigious Mayo Clinic. She moved home to Ireland to head up Accenture’s Fjord design studio at The Dock in Dublin.
