The Village Season 1 Full Episode Guide
The quiet winter months give the village a chance to do some renovations and look ahead to next year. But it's still all-hands-on-deck for the annual Christmas Food Fair and Nigel is presented with a restoration project of biblical proportions.
One of the main highlights of the year, Festival Number 6 draws thousands to Portmeirion, as Meurig welcomes a few famous and familiar faces and gives one of his legendary tours, whilst Head Chef Mark welcomes various Michelin Star chefs and Delyth oversees a very special wedding.
The holiday season brings thousands of people through the gates every day! New statues take pride of place on the central piazza and Gwynedd returns to where it all began for Sir Clough Williams-Ellis; his boyhood home at Plas Brondanw.
As summer begins Delyth starts planning for the wedding season and the staff at Portmeirion celebrate the work of Susan Williams-Ellis - the pioneer behind Portmeirion Pottery. We also meet Rob Piercy, a man who has spent 25 years capturing Portmeirion on canvas.
It's been a tough Winter for all involved at Portmeirion, but Spring arrives with its restorative powers. The Prisoner superfans descend in full costume on the village for the Six of One annual convention and Nigel starts a big renovation job that will change the face of the central piazza.
In this first episode, we get to know the men and women who are the guardians of this magical Italianate village.
