Rocky King, Inside Detective is an American television series broadcast on the DuMont Television Network on Sundays at 9pm ET from January 15, 1950 to December 26, 1954. This series was one of DuMont's most popular programs, and was a live crime series set in New York City. The show not only kept Roscoe Karns from retirement, but cast him opposite his son, Todd Karns. The DuMont offices and corridors were used as sets. At the end of each program, King would exchange telephone small talk with his unseen wife Mabel and, after hanging up, say to no one in particular, "Great girl, that Mabel".

Rocky King, Detective Season 3 Full Episode Guide
When Lionel the great, a stage magician, is poisoned at a theatrical boarding house, the two most likely killers are his wife and agent. But when valuable jewels are reported lost, King suspects another culprit.
Rocky, with Sgt. O'Hara, returns to school for the first time in years and finds many changes. A seemingly unloved principal is found dead and the two work together to find the culprit.
An unidentified girl is found in front of a house. The occupants claim no knowledge of the deceased but when Rocky finds the murder victim's purse stashed in the grand piano, the mystery deepens.
A rich beautiful woman has vanished and Rocky takes on the case. There is a minimum of clues but Rocky thinks the contents of a fish bowl may provide the solution to the lady's whereabouts.
A body is discovered and Rocky suspects ties to the criminal underworld. In cracking the case Rocky hope to bring down the syndicate and its illegal activities.
A wealthy man is discovered stabbed next to his wall safe. Rocky uncovers a disturbing number of suspects when he takes on the case.
Rocky finds few clues when he investigates a well-planned killing.
Rocky finds himself learning about plants when a professor specializing in horticulture is found murdered.
A blind man is found dead with his money untouched, but the pencils he sells are gone. Rocky tries to crack the curious case.
A murdered artist's existing works are sought after by several heirs. Rocky zeros in on three suspects in solving the killing.
A big game hunter is found dead and Rocky is called in to solve the unusual killing.
Rocky's new case is curious because the victim is first killed by a fireplace poker, then flung out of a high rise window. With few clues, Rocky stubbornly persists.
A gun is found next to a body, giving the appearance of suicide. Rocky believes the weapon was planted and launches an investigation of murder.
A daredevil race car driver is found beaten to death at the track. Rocky and Sgt. Hart arrive on the scene and find a oil smudge near the murder which may provide the clue to break the case.
