The business of the cooperative shop has dropped considerably. Other housewives request to withdraw; KA pleads them to give her a month to do something. MAN, once again, proposes KA, HEUNG and NGO to take nude photos for the promotion of the shop. KUEN supports her idea. HA’s mistress asks NGO for money again. NGO tells HA that his mistress’ baby is just a fake but he does not believe her. NGO gets heartbreak when HA is trying to hit her. HEUNG tries to stop BIU from signing on the divorce agreement but fails for ANGELA has made BIU into believing that she wants to divorce him as soon as possible. CHO is distributing promotional leaflet for his dancing team at a shopping mall when he learns that KA and KUEN have been very close recently. He is so upset that he has an emotional breakdown. BIU agrees to employ CHO again. CHO moves back home……
KUEN gives KA a pair of shoes, claming that it is given to him by a friend’s wife. CHO’s father gives KA some money on his own accord. KA knows very well that CHO is faced with financial problems. HEUNG and BIU pretend to be a loving couple in front of their daughter, TINA, so as not to affect her performance at school. TINA is selected to be a member of the school’s soccer team. In order to save her marriage, HEUNG wants to apologize to BIU. ANGELA, however, ruins her plan by making the whole company know that BIU has gonorrhea. HA’s mistress demands NGO to pay her five thousand dollars every month, claming that she is expecting HA’s baby. NGO cannot help but agrees. KUEN’s suggestion of opening a cooperative shop in the estate selling home made products wins the support of the housewives. KUEN and KA have been running around for the opening of the shop. KA takes a break at his place……
KUEN encourages KA to do some voluntary work so as to recover her value but she is not interested. KUEN takes his daughter to an exclusive primary school for an interview. The interview is not successful as his daughter has been uncooperative. KUEN is mad. He locks his daughter up in her room when they get home. His daughter has a fever not long after and needs to be sent to hospital. KUEN tells KA how lonely a man is without a wife. KA shows her understanding. The dancing team is not as popular as it used to be. To boast sales, the owner of the bar suggests the team to put on a sexy dance show. CHO turns him down. But when the owner demands that they pay him back the money, they have no choice but to agree. HA’s mistress visits NGO and calls her seductive woman. TSUN has been absent-minded since he found out that YO YO’s boyfriend was no one else but the elder brother of MAN. KUEN loves KA more and more as time goes by……
HEUNG is not feeling well. Gynecological test confirms that she has contracted gonorrhea. HEUNG scolds BIU for passing the disease to her. She insists that BIU has slept with ANGELA, to which he is unable to explain. BIU asks ANGELA if they have slept with each other; she denies. HEUNG remembers suddenly that she has visited a gigolo bar. She calls the male PR whom she went to the hotel to check if they have slept with each other that night. BIU overhears her conversation. The couple shifts the blame onto each other and agrees to divorce. KA has a relapse at a shopping mall. Before she knows it, her son and daughter are nowhere to be seen. With the help of KUEN she manages to find her children at last. The housewives in the estate ask TSUN to treasure MAN but he points out sharply that they will not make a pair. He moves onto listing out MAN’s shortcomings. MAN stomps off in anger……
HEUNG has moved back to her luxurious apartment. She throws a party; every members of the parents’ club is invited. KA is busy helping out at the party. Other guests cannot bear to see HEUNG treating KA like a domestic helper but KA defends for HEUNG. ANGELA has returned from overseas. On one hand, she increases the number of shares that BIU holds. On the other, she carries out her plan of revenge on HEUNG in secret. First of all, she makes BIU drunk. Secondly, she lets HEUNG know that BIU has gone out with her. HEUNG rushes to stop BIU from meeting up with ANGELA at a hotel. She enters a gigolo bar by accident. She is drunk and taken to a hotel by a male PR. Fortunately she manages to keep her head in the last minute. HEUNG bumps into HA, who is with a woman. She tells NGO about this but NGO tells her that HA is currently in mainland China in return, and that the man she met was actually HA’s twin brother……
Suggested by KUEN, KA eats a candy whenever she feels panicky. And it works. NGO discovers that HA is living with a woman when she is delivering take-away. HA lies that the woman is actually a fellow villager of his. NGO believes what he says though. HA returns home to see NGO and their son. HEUNG sees them, but as she cannot see HA clearly, she mistakes NGO has a boyfriend. NGO explains to her that the man is her cousin indeed. HEUNG is angry to find that her daughter, TINA, did not go to ballet lesson for playing football with NGO’s son. She blames NGO for not teaching her son. KA stops her, only to be told to watch over her own husband. KUEN tells KA to accept the fact that CHO is a transvestite. What is more, he and NGO accompany her to watch CHO perform at a bar. CHO is taken aback to see KA among the audience. KUEN tells CHO that KA wrongly believes that he is a transvestite……
CHO is going home for dinner tonight. KA wants to prepare a big meal for him but she is so edgy that she almost burns the kitchen. KUEN offers to help. CHO is touched to see the dinner specially prepared for him. KUEN brings out the dessert when CHO has returned to the bedroom. Unfortunately he is discovered. CHO is burning with anger. Furious, he goes to the disco again. KA follows him. She is anguished to see her husband dressed as a woman again. KA’s Anxiety Disorders are getting worse. KUEN suggests her seeing a psychiatrist but she denies that she has any problems. MAN’s parents have a traffic accident in mainland. She goes to see them on her own. Worried, TSUN goes to find her. When he gets to the hospital, he is shocked to be told by MAN’s parents that she has not come yet. It turns out that MAN’s coach had broken down and that she had jumped on the motorcycle of a robber. Luckily TSUN finds her in time……
NGO promises her son that she will buy him a model but she actually cannot afford it. She goes to a restaurant to look for a job. Starving, she eats the sandwich left over by some customers. Her act draws attention of other customers, who believe that she has a mental problem. Meanwhile, KUEN, KA and HEUNG arrive and they go up to help her out. HEUNG offers to lend two thousand dollars to NGO but she refuses to take it. KA, KUEN and other housewives give NGO daily goods to help she solve her immediate problems. KUEN suggests NGO applying for Social Security Assistance. Unwillingly, NGO accepts his suggestion. Now that ANGELA has taken over BIU’s company, BIU expects that he will be sacked. To his surprise, he is promoted Manager instead. NGO shows up late and leaves early at the parents’ club meetings because of work. She, who is the Chairperson, is blamed by other parents. NGO runs into HA on the street……
KA is so nervous that she faints at a restaurant. CHO gives her some words of consolation. Following the advice of his female co-workers, CHO buys KA some tonic, which is especially for women use. KA, nevertheless, mistakenly believes that it is for his use. CHO’s performance is well received. The owner of the disco proposes that he form a dancing group. CHO cannot make up his mind. KA and KUEN go shopping at the supermarket. As KA is behaving rather awkwardly, KUEN suspects that she is suffering from Anxiety Disorders. BIU’s request to draw his salary in advance is rejected. The company that he works for has been bought up by ANGELA. He deduces that ANGEAL will fire him as revenge. In order to persuade the better-off parents of the parents’ club into purchasing her luxurious apartment, HEUNG picks up rubbish for them. NGO’s son’s eardrum is damaged and needs a surgery, which costs twenty thousand dollars……
KA tells TSUN about CHO’s resent absurd behavior. TSUN comes to the conclusion that it is a way CHO relieves his pressure and asks KA to care more about CHO. ANGELA drops BIU a hint that maybe they can be lovers. BIU asks HEUNG for advice. Wishing that they could live in a luxurious apartment again, HEUNG does not stop BIU from going out with ANGELA. KA seduces CHO in order to reduce his pressure as well as to prevent him from dressing up as a woman again. CHO is very excited. BIU is meeting up with ANGELA. HEUNG is worried to death. She listens to the advice of KA, NGO and MAN and rushes to ANGELA’s villa to prevent anything bad from happening. ANGELA cooks for BIU. Under the effect of aphrodisiac essential oil, BIU cannot resist ANGELA’s seduce. HEUNG arrives to take BIU away. As for BIU, he realizes at last that no woman is as good as his wife. ANGELA threatens to call the police……
Back home, HEUNG is still mad at BIU, who tries hard to console her. Much to CHO’s displeasure, KUEN tells him that KA’s leg injury recurs. To vent his unhappiness, he dresses up as a woman and dances in the disco. His performance has attracted the attention of other customers, who ask him to put on a show. KA suspects that CHO is having an affair when she sees the female outfits that he has bought for the show. She airs her grievances to HEUNG and NGO. TSUN is absent from work because of illness. Worried about him, MAN cooks some congee for him. TSUN has found on the street a picture of YO YO and a man. MAN expresses her love for TSUN, who does not know how to react. The walls of HA’s apartment are daubed with red paint by his creditors. He goes to the mainland to hide away from them. ANGELA’s car has broken down. BIU goes to her help. HEUNG follows him. When she gets there, she sees them hugging each other……
CHO and KA are in a cold war with each other. CHO’s father wants to do something to patch them up. MR. WONG decides to let CHO take care of the dealership of his company’s electrical products but CHO refuses his offer, not want to be stripped of his dignity. PETER, a colleague of his, advises that he should change his mind for the good of his children and wife. CHO is very upset. PETER takes him to a disco to chill out. When he is home, he apologizes to KA, whom confesses that she has been wrong, too. The couple is on good terms again. HEUNG and BIU have bought a luxurious apartment for investment. BIU’s company is organizing a boat trip and he invites ANGELA to go with him. HEUNG and BIU bump into an old schoolmate of BIU’s at a restaurant. HEUNG is taken by BIU’s schoolmate for his elder sister. BIU’s alumni are going to have a gathering. HEUNG decides to go with him……
CHO’s father does not get along with the wife of his eldest son, who is a Westerner. As such, he moves into CHO’s place, placing another financial burden on CHO. BIU wants to make use of ANGELA to fight for the exclusive dealership of a particular electrical appliance upon learning that her father is the tycoon who is regarded as King of Electrical Appliances. ANGELA agrees to give him some help. CHO’s father takes home a wooden cabinet from the refuse collection room. Later, he receives complaints from the neighbors when he is fixing the cabinet. CHO is humiliated by his client MR. WONG but he does not say a word. Seeing that TSUN does not have many hobbies, MAN goes cycling with him and buys him a pet lizard. MR. WONG is caught red-handed by his wife when he is meeting up with another woman. To please MR. WONG, CHO takes the blame for him. MRS. WONG tells KA that CHO has a woman outside but KA trusts her husband……
HEUNG teases at KA’s son, TAT, because he has been doing less well than before at school recently. KA follows HEUNG. She discovers that HEUNG’s daughter goes to a well-known tuition school. She believes that this is the reason why HEUNG’s daughter always comes first at tests and exams. CHO’s boss is dissatisfied with his performance. CHO is determined to work harder for a better life for his family. MAN’s job at the restaurant is tough. Her complexion has become a lot darker from frequent take-away delivery. KUEN massages for her and tells her that the massage oil is given by TSUN. This makes her believe that TSUN has a crush on her. She asks TSUN if he is secretly in love with her, to which he does not know whether to laugh or cry. He tells her frankly that he cares for her only because she is a good friend of his late wife. KA has fallen asleep……
KA and HEUNG also find CHO and BIU’s email addresses on the organizer. To find out what had been going on, they open their husband’s emails. NGO remembers seeing YO YO’s boyfriend’s legs, which were hairy and had a scar on one of it. KA and HEUNG try hard to see if the legs of the other’s husband have these two features. KUEN has a faint. His daughter calls her maternal grandmother in mainland for help. KUEN’s mother-in-law is on the way back to Hong Kong. He fears that she will take away his daughter when she sees the messy state of his place. KA, HEUNG and NGO help him tidy up his place before his mother-in-law arrives. KUEN is very thankful for their help. He also tells them that he now realizes that housewives have wisdom too. KA and HEUNG discover that their husbands had gone out with YO YO. CHO and BIU meet up with each other at midnight……
HEUNG accuses KA of framing her up. KA is speechless. Something falls down from the stage. It would have hit the headmaster if NGO had not saved her in time. NGO becomes the Chairperson of the parents’ club because of this. KA and NGO try to find out the sender of the pictures and find out that they were sent out from TSUN’s cell phone. TSUN interrogates MAN to see if it was she who did it. KUEN quits his job so as to take care of the family. Seeing that he has troubles with the chores, KA offers to give him a hand. KUEN however turns down her kindness. TSUN prepares packed lunches for KA, HEUNG and NGO’s children to take to school, whose education theme this week is Being Healthy. MAN adds loads of MSG on the lunches. When she learns that they are for the children indeed, she rushes to their school to stop the children from eating them. MAN finds on YO YO’s organizer names of her dates……
Other members of the parents’ club tell NGO that they will vote for KA for they do not like HEUNG’s air of arrogance. It irks MAN that TSUN makes cakes with the housewives on his wedding anniversary with YO YO. As a matter of fact, the cakes are actually for YO YO. MAN is stirring up trouble at TSUN’s restaurant again. TSUN points out straightly that she ate the expired desserts on purpose. He also tells her that he has a videotape that supports what he says. MAY, a colleague of BIU, gets close to him whenever she can. HEUNG asks her out to demand she keep a distance from her husband. KUEN has hired a Pilipino domestic helper to look after his daughter. His daughter chokes on a fish bone. KA comes to her help before it is too late, only to be blamed by KUEN. MAN requests KA, HEUNG and NGO to pay respect to YO YO’s grave, after which she accuses them of killing YO YO……
In the meeting of the parents’ club, the Chairperson suggests organizing a study trip to the four ancient civilization countries. KA counter suggests voting for the Chairperson of the new school year first. Her suggestion wins the support of other parents. Both KA and HEUNG expresses their wish to run for the post for the benefit of their children but NGO prefers being a voter instead. TSUN gives the pair of chopsticks that belonged to his deceased wife to HEUNG. MAN blames him for having forgotten about his wife. She also believes that he is leading a happy and comfortable life on the death benefit paid under YO YO’s life insurance policy. To teach TSUN a lesson, she eats the expired desserts thrown away by his restaurant deliberately. MAN is taken to hospital. She demands five per cent share of TSUN’s restaurant as compensation. TSUN has no choice but agrees. HEUNG and KA’s children are taking part in a competition held by the school……
Housewives MUNG KA-KA, TING MUI-HEUNG and CHO MEI-NGO live in the same public housing estate. KA and HEUNG have known each other since secondary school. Both of them were top guns at school. While KA was regarded as the most beautiful girl at school, HEUNG was a frequent awards-winner. Back then romance always came first to KA. She met FONG YIN-CHO, the Dancing King, at graduation and they fell in love almost instantly. Instead of going to university, she married CHO as soon as she had graduated. The couple now has a twin son and daughter. As for HEUNG, she went to university upon graduation and there she met KAM BIU, who came from a well-off family. They moved into a luxurious apartment after they had married. Unfortunately, BIU’s business failed later on and so they had to move to where they live now. NGO is a grassroots housewife. Since she married MA TAI-HA she has been looking after the family and their son……
