With just 24 hours until her pop-up dinner, Nina scrambles to improve her food after receiving less than stellar reviews from her friends. A confrontation between Lindsay and Kat creates a firestorm that leaves Kat vowing not to attend the dinner and Nina melting down. With her reputation on the line, Nina frantically makes the meal of her life for 50 of L.A.'s most influential foodies. Can Nina take the heat or will she have to get out of the kitchen?
Waylynn takes a trip to New York City to look at potential Fonuts locations while sneaking in a romantic getaway with Andrew. Jessica finally looks for a job and hopes her former co-worker Clint can help. Brenda goes out on her first date in two years where her rusty dating skills might cut things short. And Nina has 48 hours to prepare a pop-up dinner to impress important people in the L.A. food scene, but can she first impress the harshest critics of all—her friends?
Before leaving Santa Ynez, Jessica confronts Waylynn over the comment that made her break down. Back in L.A., Brenda attempts to smooth things over with Lindsay. And Jessica, still lost after losing her job, finally calls her father in the hopes of getting comfort and support. Meanwhile, Kat seeks advice from Waylynn over her alleged reputation. How will she react when Waylynn doesn't hold back?
Jessica reels over the loss of her job, while Brenda suspects Lindsay is at the root of her troubles at work. Kat arranges a girls' bonding trip to Santa Ynez to explore the food-to-table phenomenon happening in the local food scene. The trip takes a turn when Brenda confronts Lindsay in front of all the women. And a seemingly harmless comment by Waylynn sends Jessica running off in tears.
Jessica's father visits from out of town and she is eager for his approval. Waylynn breaks her "no chef" policy when things progress with Andrew. Lindsay is blindsided when Jessica makes a snap business decision. Meanwhile, Brenda drops a bomb when she confronts Kat about her reputation in the L.A. food scene.
Nina's feeling isolated in L.A., so she turns to longtime family friend, Lauren Hutton, for advice and throws an adult "show and tell" party in the hopes of strengthening her friendships. Waylynn relives a bittersweet memory by putting on her dream wedding dress she never got to wear. Meanwhile, Brenda and Kat attend a very exclusive charity dinner, where Kat is the flirty center of attention.
With L.A. Food & Wine Festival just days away, Nina and Jessica scramble to make a big mark on the local food scene. Meanwhile, Jessica pushes her team to take Fuku Burger to the next level. Then, Waylynn celebrates Fonuts’ one-year anniversary with an interview for Eater LA with Kat.
