Korea: The Unfinished War Season 1 Full Episode Guide
In the final part of this series, we see the final stages of this bloody war. Canadian Charles Forbes tells of the bloody fighting on Hill 355 as this modern war becomes more reminiscent of the first World War. Meanwhile, Canadian Missionary James Endicott discovers possible Biological warfare across China & North Korea. As the war ends those affected reflect on their experiences.
In the third part of this series, we explore the continual fighting that is tearing Korea apart. We follow the stories of Canadian WWII vet Charlie Forbes & Col. Jim Stone preparing his green men for battle. Also explored is President Truman's controversial removal of General McArthur from command & potential War Crimes committed by UN troops.
In the second episode of this series, we follow through the first nine months of the war & it's many horrors. Giving an on the ground perspective is Donald Gill who was one of the first Marines to take part in the Liberation of Korea. We also explore the controversial reputation of General Douglas MacArthur along with his tactics & decisions that some say prolonged the war.
In the first part of this series, we explore the lead-up & early stages of the Korean War. From the liberation of the Korean Peninsula at the end of WWII, the segmentation of the region on the 38th parallel begins almost immediately. After several tense years, the conflict begins in July of 1950 with a surprise invasion by the North. Catching the world & the Americans off guard.
