Ginger and her friends decide to help a Lucky Junior High School girl named Hope to gain popularity by offering her some social and fashion tips. When she takes to the advice so well that she challenges and beats Courtney's reign as the most popular girl in school, will Courtney be able to regain her title? Meanwhile, Carl causes his teacher Mrs. Gordon to retire and get replaced by music teacher Hepcat Hepper. Will he convince her to come back?

When the girls try out for the school musical "Mambo In The Catskills", and Ginger gets the lead opposite Joaquin, will the two best friends come to terms with the fact that they both have a crush on the same guy? Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey try to make aphrodisiacs.
Ginger really wants her mom to start dating, but when she starts seeing Buzz the handyman (from the episode TGIF) and his three boys invade the Foutley house, Ginger mifht have second thoughts about it.
Ginger decides to play an April Fools joke on Dodie by forging a love letter to her from Dustin, (a weirdo in her class that eats his sandwiches with chopsticks). Things get messy when Dodie admits to having a secret crush on Dustin, while Dustin reveals he really HAS sent a love letter, but to Macie! Will Ginger find a way to work it out? Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey tell Blake they sold his tonsils to a witch doctor, causing him to become sick.
Ginger, Carl and Macie go on vacation to Loon Lake with Dodie and her family, where an escaped "lunatic" from the insane asylum has been reported to be hiding. Will Carl and Hoodsey get to scare Blake, who is camping in the woods there as well, or will they be in for a scare themselves? Meanwhile, Ginger and Macie deal with Dodie's mom Joann, who is a bit "high strung".
Friday the 13th, Carl's favorite holiday, begins with the Foutley car breaking down, Ginger's sweater getting ripped, and her school paper being blown away. Then a rare house-eating mold is discovered in Ginger's house that causes it to be condemned. Will the streak of bad luck continue, and could it get any worse? Maybe if Ginger gets completely fed up with her family...
When Dodie's Nana dies, Ginger and Macie help her out, but Ginger realizes that she never knew her own grandma. Will her dad give her any insights into what she was like? Meanwhile, Hoodsey comes to terms with his own grief at Nana's funeral, but how will his family react when they find out that he has locked an iron mask around his head?
Ginger wins the student council election on the premise of having "big brothers" and "big sisters" to guide the younger elementary school trouble makers. When she assings George Magrority, a military academy kid, to her brother after he blows up the septic system at his school, will he have a positive influence on Carl, or will he go too far?
When Courtney and Miranda get in a fight over which of their volleyball teams Ginger will play for, Miranda decides to replace Courtney with Ginger as her best friend. Will Ginger have to pick sides between them? Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey help Courtney's mom to win an election at her Country Club.
Ginger's mom is on strike and needs to bring money in, so she decides to do house cleaning. When Ginger needs $50 to go on a class trip to New York, will she end up helping out her mom without anyone finding out?
Ginger is sick of being called a "nice girl" by Courtney's friends, so she decides to sneak into a high school party with Dodie and Macie on a school night. There she meets Jake, a "cool" high schooler. When Miranda and Courtney find out and begin spreading rumors about Ginger and her new crush, can she put things right, or will the nice girl suddenly have a "bad reputation"? Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey set up a food cart.
The girls prepare for a screening of a film about puberty in their gym class that Macie is dreading. Will she be able to sit through it or will she chicken out? Meanwhile, Hoodsey deals with being too embarassed to shower after his gym class.
Darren gets his braces removed and suddenly becomes attractive to every girl at school. Will Miranda ruin his friendship with Ginger when she becomes his girlfriend? Meanwhile, Brandon's monkey, Mr. Licorice, is missing and Carl and Hoodsey go looking for him.
Everyone is going to the Sadie Hawkin's dance... Macie with her "Mystery Man" (actually Hoodsey), Miranda with Ian Richton, and Courtney... with Darren?!? Will Ginger get to the bottom of this and figure out why Courtney has a sudden interest in her good friend?
When Ginger realises she's a quarter Jewish, she starts exploring her newly discovered heritage. But as Ginger starts becoming Courtney too well and ignoring Macie and Dodie, will she turn into someone else for good? Meanwhile, Hoodsey hits his head and gets amnesia.
When Ginger is accused of defacing a statue at her school as a Halloween prank, she is dropped as the lead in the school musical. But will the ghost of Maude reveal who is truly guilty of the crime?
