Later: Paul Conti, a former contestant of season 3 of Next Great Baker, asks Buddy for a job, after Hurricane Sandy left him without a job or a home.
Buddy is given the honor of making a cake for returning "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts after her extended medical leave; Mauro makes a cake for a spinning instructor who wants to honor a friend and mentor.
Season six kicks off just as Hurricane Sandy begins to hit Carlo's; after the storm barrels through, Buddy and the crew reconvene to determine the damage sustained to the store; the crew tries to get orders out while working with no electricity.
