Home Season 2 Full Episode Guide
While Katy faces up to an uncertain future, John is desperate to make amends with Sami, but first he has to track him down. What John really needs now is a dad, but is Peter up to the job?
As she prepares for the worst at school, Katy's self-loathing is matched only by John's fury and Sami's despair. Everyone is looking for a way out, but when did running away ever solve anything?
It's now been eight months since he arrived in Britain, and Sami is still playing the waiting game for the right to remain in the UK. Everything is in limbo, all Sami can do is make himself useful to his hosts in Dorking.
Sami finds new opportunities to make friends and influence people on the local bus but is persuaded by Peter that the gig economy is the future of getting out and about to rebuild your sense of self-worth. Meanwhile, Katy is summoned to face the music at school and everyone is on edge as they wait for Elliot to arrive to discuss the mortgage on the house. All except John, who can't wait to see his dad for the first time in years.
Now he's back in Dorking, Sami is determined to be part of the local community, so his friend Raj invites him to enter the Dorking Marmalade Festival. Meanwhile, Katy walks into a sticky situation of her own at school that makes Peter's promotion at work all the more important.
Six months of waiting for a decision, and Sami's good-humoured patience is starting to wear very thin. A family day out in the Surrey Hills leads to departures and frustration which trigger a confrontation and a heated exchange at a 3-star hotel. If Peter can't save the day, Sami will lose his asylum claim.
