Years after the events of Predacons Rising, Bumblebee is summoned back to Earth to battle several of Cybertron's most wanted Decepticons that escaped from a crashed prison ship and assembles a team of young Autobots that includes Sideswipe (a rebel "bad boy bot"), Strongarm (an Elite Guard cadet), Grimlock (a bombastic Dinobot), and Fixit (a hyperactive Mini-Con with faulty wiring).

2015 / TV-Y7Season 2 sees Bumblebee's team split into two groups: an "away team" to search the world for far-ranging Decepticons while Bumblebee, Strongarm, Grimlock, and Fixit hold down the fort near Crown City. Still recovering from his humiliating rout at the hands of Megatronus, Steeljaw allies with a mysterious group of Decepticons led by Glowstrike and Scorponok, operating out of a crashed Cybertronian ship.

The severely outnumbered Autobots on Decepticon Island desperately search for a way to stop Steeljaw and his army. Tensions between Bumblebee and Optimus could put the mission, and the entire world, at risk.
After the two teams are reunited, the Autobots get support from an old friend, and begin the raid on Decepticon Island.
Slipstream and Jetstorm expose Drift to danger when attempting to prove that they can work effectively without him.
Fixit's repairs to the GroundBridge go wrong, summoning two of the most dangerous Decepticons on the planet and banishing Bumblebee to another dimension.
With Bumblebee and Strongarm stuck at an impound lot, Grimlock must find a disguise when Quillfire returns.
Bumblebee takes a night off to see his favorite band, but things get dangerous when Bisk attacks the stadium.
Steeljaw creates a plan to infiltrate the scrapyard by sending Bumblebee, Grimlock, and Strongarm into a trap.
Grimlock tries to make himself smarter by absorbing information from a Cybertronian data cylinder into his brain, but something goes wrong and leaves the team at a disadvantage.
Windblade is concerned about Optimus' well being, but doing so puts the Away Team at risk as they battle Razorpaw.
After a mistake in the field, Strongarm takes herself out of action just when the team needs her most against fire-starting Decepticons Crazybolt and Slicedice.
While trying to apprehend Saberhorn, Strongarm and Grimlock struggle to recreate the teamwork Strongarm had with Sideswipe.
While the away team struggles against the elements to capture Polarclaw, Bumblebee's team tracks Overload.
