Australia's Next Top Model is an Australian reality television series, based on a franchise that was created by Tyra Banks with America's Next Top Model. It is produced by Granada Productions and broadcast on the Australian subscription television channel, FOX8. The series' objective is to find a promising but as-yet undiscovered Australian fashion Model and reward her with a platform to boost her chances of forging a successful career within the modelling industry. The series was last formerly hosted by Australian model Sarah Murdoch, who also served as lead judge and co-executive producer of the show for cycles five to seven. Jodhi Meares and Erika Heynatz also served as former hosts. An eighth cycle was confirmed for production and broadcast during 2013. Producers had to find a replacement host before production re-commenced. In April 2012 it was announced that the series would take a break for 2012 due to the fact that producers of the show were having trouble finding a replacement for Sarah Murdoch. It was announced on 19 November 2012 that beauty queen, model, and television personality Jennifer Hawkins was chosen as the new host for the ongoing eighth cycle.

It's down to the final three. Join us from The Star, in Sydney, where we reveal who will take out the title of Australia's Next Top Model. With performances by Rudimental, Timomatic and Cirque De Soleil.
The final four girls travel to an amazing overseas location, where their first challenge is underwater before two beautiful photo shoots in incredible locations sees another unlucky girl leave the competition.
The theme for this week is androgyny - blurring the line between masculinity and femininity. The lesson and following challenge produces hilarious results before a shocking elimination see two girls going home.
Seven girls remain and this week is all about knowing their angles. An anti-gravity yoga lesson, followed by a difficult runway challenge, tests their abilities before an amazing shoot sees a surprising winner.
For the remaining contestants, the theme is learning to express their emotions without words. In the challenge, the girls are tasked with making a fashion film before an emotional elimination sends another girl home.
Making a good impression is the lesson of the week; where at a paid casting call with hidden cameras some girls shine, whilst others fall flat. After last week's shocking exit, another girl is eliminated.
The models learn to put their trust in the hands of others, as first they face their fears handling some of Australia's deadliest reptiles, before coming face to face with their next challenge - makeover time!
The models get a lesson in etiquette before being challenged to walk the red-carpet at a movie premiere. A retro photo shoot sees some girls excel, while others fall flat!
In Sydney, the girls are taken to their new home: a luxury waterfront mansion. Learning about fitness, the girls are put through a muddy assault course before an athletic photo shoot sees another girl eliminated.
The girls fly to Thailand where they get a lesson in meditation before competing in a challenge that tests their ability to stay calm.
Excited girls from around the country arrive in Sydney to face a series of challenges, before the lucky final group is chosen by new host, Jennifer Hawkins, new judge, Didier Cohen, Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson.
