Virgílio tells Catarina that Rodolfo will capture Afonso. Selena warns Amália that Afonso will be betrayed. Afonso realizes that he was betrayed by Otávio. Rodolfo orders the guards to arrest his brother.
King Octavian promises to arrange a meeting with the other kings of Calia. Virgil gives Eloi a letter to deliver to the sender in case anything happens to him. Afonso meets with Otávio, king of Lastrilha. Diana helps Virgílio enter Catarina's room, and the merchant discovers a letter about Augusto's arrest.
Lucíola reveals to Catarina about a conversation she overheard between Virgílio and Diana, and the queen concludes that they are betraying her trust. Lucrécia suggests to Mother Benedita that the fair be held in Montemor. Brumela decides to shelter Afonso, Amália and Levi. Ulisses reprimands Selena for having told Diana where Amália is taking refuge. Lucíola tells Catarina that she saw Diana preparing to leave on horseback.
Catarina appoints Ulisses as the new commander of the castle kitchen. Agnes takes Afonso and Amália to hide in a cave. Brumela tells Betânia that she will work in the fields. Virgílio pressures Diana to tell him what she knows about Amália's whereabouts.

The witch doctor warns Amália and Levi about the danger they are in. Virgílio arrives at Martinho and Constância's house and Afonso hides. Catarina appears at the witch doctor's house
Levi becomes tense when he sees Amália reacting to the poison. Mandingueira takes care of Amália, who is delirious. Amália wakes up from her trance. Catarina advises Virgílio to stay close to Diana, predicting that Amália might look for her friend. Selésio thinks about leaving the convent and Lucrécia convinces him to stay. Afonso decides to go to Montemor to get news about Amália's family.

Faced with the people's revolt against the decisions imposed by Rodolfo, Cássio identifies the need for Afonso to assume the throne.
Catarina becomes queen of Montemor and gives a speech alongside Rodolfo. Catarina teases Amália at the wedding party. Saulo has the impression that he is seeing again. Ulisses feels jealous of Selena when he sees her dancing with Tiago. Sister Benedita introduces Lucrécia to the novice Mirtes, who will share her room. Lucrécia faints when Mirtes tells her that her cousin Catarina married Rodolfo.
Amália and Afonso encourage the people of Montemor to share their water with the people of Artena. Afonso is taken before Rodolfo, who decides to distribute the rationed water equally to everyone. Amália suggests to Afonso that the two leave Montemor.
Rodolfo is perplexed to realize that his statue has been spray-painted. Virgílio accepts Catarina's proposal to be the princess's informant. Romero admits Tiago to the gym and Selena welcomes him. Amália feels jealous when Afonso highlights Catarina's qualities. Virgílio tells Catarina that many people in Montemor still love Afonso.
Rodolfo announces that he will marry Catarina. Catarina tells Luciola that she needs to convince the people that she will be a great queen for Montemor. Catarina is booed by the people during a walk with Rodolfo. Lupércio prescribes herbs for Martinho. Glória doesn't like the result of her image painted in the painting made by Osiel.
Orlando exercises his role as patriarch of the faith, depriving Lucrécia of the title of queen of Montemor. Lucrécia tells Rodolfo that she will enter a convent. Amália trains archery with Tiago. Lucrécia leaves Montemor and Catarina celebrates her victory.
Amália and Afonso go after Emídio. Levi manages to escape from the cart and Emídio goes in search of his nephew with two companions. Afonso fights with Emídio and both are in danger. Orlando explains Rodolfo's plan to Lucrécia, and the queen concludes that her husband was manipulated by Catarina. Lucrécia confronts Catarina. Everyone is surprised when Rodolfo announces Orlando as the new Patriarch of Faith.
Rodolfo announces to Lucrécia that their marriage is over. Catarina celebrates when she learns that Lucrécia was caught with a lover. Emídio goes to get Levi, when Diana finds that the boy ran away.
Petrônio tells Lucrécia that he was the one who let Catarina leave the room. Orlando tells Petronio that Lucrécia is faithful and will not betray the king. Lucrécia allows Latrine to approach Lucíola to get information from Catarina. Catarina gives money to Emídio in exchange for a favor. Emídio introduces himself to Afonso and Amália as Samara's brother, and tells them that he will take Levi.
Amália intervenes in Afonso's trial in favor of her beloved. Rodolfo guides Petrônio and Orlando to find a man capable of leading Lucrécia to commit adultery, so that he can separate from his wife. Rodolfo appoints Ícarus as Lucrécia's bodyguard. Lucrécia catches Catarina and Rodolfo in the castle garden.
Rodolfo tells Cássio that he will order Afonso's release. Lucrécia demands that Rodolfo take Catarina out of the castle. Ulisses confronts Omero at the gym and says he would like to work in the kitchen with his mother. Afonso is apprehensive about his fate.
Augusto finds that the war was nothing more than a plan by Catarina and Rodolfo. Rodolfo tells Afonso that Augusto ran away and abandoned Catarina, who is his prisoner. Tiago tells his family that Afonso has been arrested and his fate is in Rodolfo's hands. Cássio tells Amália that Afonso is being treated like a common prisoner. Cássio tells Rodolfo that Afonso has been arrested as a traitor.
Samara asks Amália if she and Afonso take care of Levi. Augusto follows Afonso's advice to leave the castle. Demetrio and Afonso agree with Catarina, who suggests staying separate from Augusto. Saulo hits his head during a fight. Catarina decides to remain in the castle. Afonso is surrendered and is arrested by Cássio. Demetrius is attacked. Augusto catches Rodolfo and Catarina kissing.
Augusto makes it clear to Afonso that he will not abandon Artena. Martinho takes Samara and Levi to take shelter in his house. Rodolfo gets lost from the entourage in the middle of the forest. Virgílio's store catches fire and he loses the money he had hidden among the fabrics. Samara is terrified when she sees that Levi has gone towards the city and goes after her son with Amália. Amália manages to find Levi.
Afonso promises Amália that he will return home. The armies of Montemor and Artena advance. Cássio fights against Rômulo. Saulo and Selena manage to save themselves. Several Montemor soldiers are killed by traps from Artena's army. Tiago saves Afonso from Montemor's soldiers. Afonso tells Augusto that Montemor's army managed to cross the forest.
Afonso confesses to Amália that he doesn't know who he will support in the face of the war between Montemor and Artena. Virgílio tries to escape the city, but is approached by a soldier. Demetrius does not agree with Catarina's attack strategy. Augusto reprimands Catarina for her decisions against the people of Montemor and orders a peace negotiation. Afonso tells his brother that he will stay by Augusto's side.
Demétrio is alarmed by Catarina's conviction that the attack was ordered by the kingdom of Montemor. Catherine restricts the entry of people into Augustus' room only to doctors and tells Demetrius that he will deal with the kingdom's affairs with her. Bethany encourages Ulysses not to give importance to Romero's opinion. Catherine appoints Romulus the new head of Artena's army.
Catarina accuses Rodolfo of having ordered her father to be killed. Afonso suggests that Rodolfo remains in Artena until the end of the investigations, so as not to raise false suspicions. Catarina removes Afonso from office and accuses him of being unable to guarantee the king's safety. Demétrio finds the weapon that injured Augusto and realizes that it belongs to Montemor's army.
Afonso wins the fight. Amália runs to meet Afonso and kisses him, showing that she has rescued his memory. Amália loses forgiveness to Afonso. Augusto convinces the sovereigns of Callia not to support the flooding of the Eranite village. Rodolfo accuses Augusto of manipulating the kings against him. Virgílio offends Amália and Afonso defends her. An archer takes aim at Augustus during his theater performance and hits the king.
Rodolfo's victory received little applause from the audience. Brice tells Virgílio that he has little time to stop Amália from recovering her memory. Cássio is injured in the dispute and Afonso decides to replace him as Montemor's representative. Virgílio changes the protection of Afonso's spear to harm him. Amália recovers her memory and screams Afonso's name, just as he starts to fight.

Amália leaves towards the forest after having a dream. Orlando puts on the armor to fight Rodolfo, when he and Petrônio realize that Fúlvio's intention is to win the fight.
Petrônio is suspicious when he sees Orlando talking to Lucrécia. Lucrécia defends Selena's participation in the tournament. Afonso decides to spend the night at Samara's house to help Levi take care of his mother. Virgílio sets fire to Samara's house.
