Santos Dumont Season 1 Full Episode Guide
Santos Dumont is racked with guilt for his role in developing airships and the horror they created during World War I. He spends his old age in Petropolis, where he finds love and begins working on one last invention. Series finale.
Santos Dumont wins the Archdeacon Prize and once again becomes the talk of the town with his now infamous aircraft, the 14-Bis. The praise is short-lived as Santos Dumont begins to feel the pressure of his competition.
Santos Dumont receives a heavy blow when his mentor passes away. The Archdeacon Prize is announced and offers a reward for any flight over 25 meters with a “heavier than air” craft, prompting Dumont to secretly develop his own design.
Santos Dumont is invited to an air race at the Universal Exhibition in America, but when his airship is sabotaged he decides to return to Paris to continue his work. Pressured by her aunt to get married, Aida de la Costa tries to make her own destiny.
The Paris Aeroclub announces an air race around the Eiffel Tower, causing indignation among the poor and working class, but giving Alberto an opportunity to show off both his genius and generosity.
Alberto Santos Dumont is the black sheep of his wealthy family, a headstrong and reckless youth with his head in the clouds. As an adult, his ambitions lead him to Paris where he begins experimenting in balloon aviation, setting him on a path to become one of the most influential inventors of the modern era.
