Enemy on the Beach is set on the coast of Ireland during World War II. Two German mines wash up on shore, posing a hazard to everyone within miles. The UXB squad dispatched to disarm the bombs consists of a cocksure merchant marine officer and a martinet British commander. It's a toss-up as to which will explode first: the bombs or the hostility between the two men.

A pair of illicit lovers have been murdered, and prosecuting attorney Abe Perez is going all out to get a conviction against the dead man's wife, a wealthy socialite who used to date Perez.
