Bobby, wanting to get rich quick, begins selling bottles of hair tonic and sells a bottle to Greg. However, Bobby runs for his life after the tonic turns Greg's hair orange, just days before his high school graduation.
The Brady family tries to figure out who would send them a pool table and later learn that Mike's boss, Mr. Matthews is the one. Meanwhile, Bobby becomes obsessed about the game and begins betting everyone including Mr. Matthews.
Marcia plants a bogus story in her diary to bait Cindy after she gets fed up with Cindy's nonstop snooping. The bait is a story about Marcia contacting a talent scout after submitting a picture of Cindy and the talent scout wants Cindy to be the next Shirley Temple.
When an FBI agent makes a visit to check Mike's security clearance, Bobby and Oliver both become convinced that Mike is working on some plans for a top secret project. They later become suspicious of Sam and become convinced that he plans to steal the ""secret plans"" and pass them on to the Russians.
Peter is stunned after he runs into a boy who looks exactly like him at school. His look alike comes in handy when Peter inadvertently makes two dates for the same night, one with Michelle and one that he forgot he promised with the niece of Mike's boss.
Carol breaks the news to Mike that she's expecting and an eavesdropping Bobby and Cindy assume that she's pregnant and pass it along to the rest of the family. Unknown to them what she meant was that she's expecting her nephew, Oliver to move in with them over the summer while his parents are in Africa.
After meeting an astronaut, Bobby and Peter begin wondering about life on other planets. Their wonder turns to excitement when they claim to have spotted a UFO and camp out in the backyard to get it on film.
Greg bets Marcia that she can't beat his score on her driver's test. However all the pressure gets the best of Marcia. Meanwhile, Jan must also deal with the pressure of speaking in front of a large group of people.
The Brady's friends, the Kellys are in the middle of adopting one little boy and soon find themselves adopting a total of three boys all of different ethnic backgrounds and they soon find themselves dealing with racist neighbors.
Surprisingly the ""once no talent,"" Jan is competing in a popularity contest at school. With Peter as her campaign manager and the rest of the family pitching in, she's got a great chance of winning. However, she quickly finds herself making promises to her classmates that she can't possibly keep.
Marcia and Jan mistakenly overhear Sam and Alice discussing elopement and jump to the conclusion that Sam and Alice are secretly planning to. This leads the Brady family to begin planning a wedding reception.
Mike has to present some plans for an addition at King's Island, an amusement park in Cincinnati, so he invites the whole family along but when a mix-up occurs Mike is left with a Yogi Bear poster while Jan is left with Mike's plans which she loses on one of the many rides in the park.
Jan becomes convinced she is a "no talent loser" after she fails to make it into a ballet recital which follows with her totally dropping out of ballet and on to tap dancing which totally drives the Brady family crazy.
Marcia becomes involved with Jerry Rogers, a quarterback for the Fairview team. Greg immediately tells Marcia the only reason he's dating her is to get his playbook, a notion Marcia scoffs at, but no one is scoffing when he actually does swipe the playbook.
After Bobby pushes Peter out of the way of a falling ladder, Peter volunteers to be Bobby's ""slave for life."" However, Bobby begins to take advantage of the situation which yet again leads to discord in the Brady household.
Marcia's got a new job working after school at a ice cream parlor. With both school and work, Marcia has little time for her boyfriend who, fed up comes into the parlor with another girl. Meanwhile, Marcia suggests Peter for a job but when he goofs off she is the one who fires him.
Greg becomes the person who has to house Raquel, a goat who happens to be the rival school's mascot, after him and his teammates swipe her in retaliation after the other team swiped their mascot. Things get out of control when Raquel proves to be hard to handle, easy to feed and not easy to catch.
Greg has finally landed a date with Sandra but he will only be able to go out with her if he can get a date for her visiting cousin, Linda. He turns to the last resort, he gets Peter to wear a fake mustache and act as if he were an older man.
After Bobby defends Millicent at school she rewards him with a kiss and he immediately sees sky rockets. This leads him to try to kiss her again but after seeing those sky rockets again, she delivers the news that she may have the mumps.
To get enough money for a retirement gift for a teacher, the Brady family puts on a production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but a mistake in dates threatens the performance when the Bradys have no theatre to put it on.
Joe Nameth guest stars as himself in this episode where Bobby lies to his friends when he tells them that he knows Joe Nameth. This leads Cindy to make up a bogus letter stating that Bobby is dying and his last wish is to meet the football star.
As the Bradys are auditioning for a TV amateur show, a musical agent spies Greg and offers him the chance of becoming a solo star. This begins to worry Mike and Carol who hoped he would go onto college and angers his siblings for deserting them, since they were a group.
