Laura Hollis, a newly enrolled college student at Silas University, shares a room with Betty, who mysteriously disappears all of a sudden. Little does Laura know that after this fateful night, nothing will be the same in her life, starting with meeting her new roommate from hell, Carmilla Karnstein. "Carmilla" is a single-camera, scripted transmedia series that puts a modern spin on the cult classic Gothic vampire novella by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. It's a story of a young woman’s susceptibility to the attentions of a female vampire.

How convenient that Laura literally happens to fall upon some old VHS tapes that might reveal some mysterious crime - Laura's curiosity gets the best of her and they're going back into the ancient year of 2012.

After witnessing the truly horrendous hidden face of the universe, Perry clamps down on the weird and tells Carmilla None Of This Ever Happened. And so, we've found out "how Perry became such a pressed lemon ..."

With a magical batting average of zero point five, Perry attempts to call upon Tythia with a spell. Of course, the Fairy Queen tempts the girls with fulfilling their heart's most desires in order to dissuade Perry. Will she do the right thing?

Backed into a corner, Mel lets it slip that she may have had ulterior motives to go to the party in regards to literally "meat up" the Zetas, so to speak - which also means the suspicions revert back to her. Meanwhile, Kirsch sprouts an unfortunate pair of donkey ears - weird.

Discussing whether the Zetas may be responsible for the girls not having their periods, Carmilla, Perry and Mel agree that they make a convincing scapegoat - mythology connections and all. Also, turns out that even Carmilla is stuck in the chamber - what does this mean?

Carmilla interrogates all suspects once again, while Perry is convinced that the strange happenings on the campus are magic-related. Mel has a really hard time believing in the existence of the supernatural.

In her best Harry Potter impression, Perry attempts a spell to find the magical culprit behind the "Redwing Migration", in order to reveal supernatural beings and find out what exactly happened at the swim team party.

Ever the lazy investigator, Carmilla tries to pin the blame on either Perry or Mel. To distract from herself, Perry suggests to interview Kirsch, who's trapped in a room underneath them, about what's happening on the campus.

Trapped in the Library of Silas University, Laura and Carmilla find some old VHS tapes that contain footage from 2012, the year in which freshmen Perry and Mel have been forcefully locked into an interrogation room, awaiting a certain Inquisitor. Oh, and their periods have been missing for 3 months.
