The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin is an American children's television program. Beginning in October 1954 until May 1959, 166 episodes originally aired on ABC television network. It starred child actor Lee Aaker as Rusty, a boy orphaned in an Indian raid, who was being raised by the soldiers at a US Cavalry post known as Fort Apache. He and his German shepherd dog, Rin Tin Tin, helped the soldiers to establish order in the American West. Texas-born actor James Brown appeared as Lieutenant Ripley "Rip" Masters. Co-stars included veteran actor Joe Sawyer and actor Rand Brooks from Gone with the Wind fame.

The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin Season 4 Full Episode Guide
Sergeant O'Hara takes Rinty and Rusty with him on a gold-mining expedition to an abandoned gold mine. There they run into three desperadoes who have just robbed a bank.
Marshal Higgins and his deputy, Kid Hooker, start courting a charming widow. Hooker, who was once a desperado, decides to surrender his badge and return to a life of crime when he fears Higgins may marry the lady.
After all the Indian tribes in the Fort Apache area sign a peace treaty, the War Department orders the fort closed. All the men leave on furlough while waiting for reassignment. Then the Comanche Chief, Okoma, takes over the fort and joins forces with Chief Black Cloud to raid the surrounding territory. Major Swenson is ordered to retake Fort Apache.
