Half in the Bag is back! Since they're not going to the theater to see the 1.5 movies that have actually been released recently, Mike and Jay instead talk about a couple of popular streaming options, the Borat sequel and The Haunting of Bly Manor. RIP Movie Theaters.
Mike and Jay face the music and review the new 30-ish years later Bill and Ted sequel. Once again, they are joined by their very special guest, the noisy cricket. That guy just loves sitting in on their discussions!
Mike and Jay are trapped in the VCR repair shop during the pandemic. Their TV is out and the last thing they watched was the new hit film "Money Plane" directed by Joey Lawrence's kid brother. They talk about it waaaaaaay too long.
Stuck in the VCR repair shop, Mike and Jay talk about a bunch of stuff they've watched because they have nothing better to do.
Stuck inside the VCR repair shop, Mike and Jay decide to talk about two movies they've seen recently on streaming services because movie theaters are still closed and Hollywood is burning.
Mike and Jay finally return to work to talk about two movies that didn't have their release dates pushed back a year: The Assistant, a tense and slow drama about workplace harassment, and The Wrong Missy, a tense and slow drama about workplace harassment.
Well it's come to this. Mike and Jay have nothing better to talk about than a DVD where Neil Breen talks about himself for almost 6 hours and a mostly forgotten 80s movie called Rawhead Rex, written by Clive Barker and shot in Ireland for some reason. Nothing matters anymore.
Still stuck inside, Mike and Jay talk about Gretel & Hansel, Vivarium, and the most anticipated movie of all time, THE BOY 2!!!! Is there ANOTHER boy living in the walls??? Stay tuned to find out!
Stuck inside during a global apocalypse, Mike and Jay decide to discuss some stuff that everyone already talked about months ago. In part 1, they dig into everyone's favorite nightmare meme, Tiger King, as well as The Invisible Man, ironically one of the last big movie to play in theaters before they...disappeared.
Jay and Mike watch Verotika! The embarrassing feature film debut from metal icon Glenn Danzig. So you know what that means... it's time for a quarantine watch party! Invite 100 to 200 of your best friends over to your 500 square foot apartment to all watch it together!!! Close all the windows and pass around the same glass of beer for everyone to share! This film is so terrible you'll rub your eyes in disbelief! You'll laugh so hard you'll cough all over the extra large bowl of pretzels everyone is grabbing from with all their filthy unwashed hands! What a treat! Could this episode have been 10 minutes long? Sure. But why not breath in the same air with all of your sketchy friends in an unventilated room for an hour!
To avoid being exposed to horrible illness, Mike and Jay stay inside and explore the depths of Hulu that nobody has ever explored before: Blumhouse's Into the Dark, a series of cheap scary movies that are all shot in one location.
Mike and Jay realize there are no newly released movies worth wasting any amount of air on and discuss some recent-ish movies instead! The Academy Award-showered Doctor Sleep, and the box office bomb that nobody saw, Parasite!
