Julie's father, Leonard, visits her in hopes of getting help with his will.
Two counselors, the authors of a book titled ""Till Death Do Us Partner,"" monitor Julie and Jordan's work relationship. Meanwhile, Stacy decides that she and Sebastian need ""rules"" for keeping their personal relationship a secret at work.
When Sebastian's valentine to Stacy winds up in Julie's hands, she thinks she forgot her ""proposeiversary"" and gets Jordan a present to make up for it. Believing they have too much togetherness, Jordan and Julie plan some time apart.
