Rev Run's Sunday Suppers Season 1 Full Episode Guide
When Russy wants money from his Dad, he knows who to consult - Mom. Justine and Russy agree that the way to Dad's heart is through his stomach and that puts Russy in charge of this Sunday Supper. After hearing an appetizing account of Rev's favorite meal: Breakfast For Dinner, Russy takes on the challenge and cooks chicken and waffles for the family - with a little help from Mom, of course. Will Dad love the food enough to throw Russy a bone?
Diggy is known as the Simmons' Family Food Police. When his farm-to-table ways show up for Sunday Supper, Rev suggests that he walk-the-walk as he talks-the-talk. To help Diggy navigate through the kitchen, he brings his trainer Sean, who is also an experienced home cook. Rev and Justine don't mind the new guest helping to prepare a delicious dinner as long as Diggy is in-tow and ready to eat!
Justine's sister and niece are the guests of honor this week and no one could be more excited than Justine herself. Her sister, Michelle is a chef by trade and the entire Simmons family knows exactly what is in store for dinner. With Pork Roast, and Mac & Cheese on the menu, they know that Aunt 'Chelle will deliver a comforting and familiar meal they have been missing - almost as much as they've missed her.
Justine invites her parents over for Sunday Supper and Grandpa promises to bring a loaf of homemade bread. After a week of eating all of his veggies, Justine grants Rev a cheat day. Rev isn't sure what he will choose to go with the bread and takes some time to think about it. He finally decides on Justine's Famous Lasagna. Justine enlists Miley to help and learn the family recipe in an effort to pass it on for years to come.
