2011For the first time in The Amazing Race history two countries will be pitted against each other in The Amazing Race Australia vs. New Zealand! The Trans-Tasman rivalry will get a new playing field when ten teams of two – five from Australia and five from New Zealand – race through ten countries, six continents and almost 90,000kms in the true adventure of a lifetime. The last team to finish each leg faces the prospect of elimination, and the team that finishes first at the end will collect the grand prize of $250,000. What tactics will play out in the Race? Will teams bond under their national flag, or will ambition and personal pride triumph over patriotism?

The Amazing Race Australia Season 3 Full Episode Guide
In the final leg, three Australian teams fly to Los Angeles to battle it out for the chance to win $250,000.
The teams race across Buenos Aires, Argentina; the teams must tackle preparing a horse for a polo match, tango dancing and locating the city's icons.
From Portugal, the teams travel to Croatia and the old city of Dubrovnik where they have trouble negotiating the old cobbled streets. In tests of strength and endurance, only those with focus will achieve.
Teams travel to Lisbon, Portugal where they are put through the basics of singing, counting and reading detail in their clues; newlyweds Ashleigh and Jarrod face the biggest test of their relationship.
With no rest, teams are still racing and heading for central Russia; after a long train trip, they face a nation vs. nation challenge; teams from the losing nation face the prospect of elimination.
Teams are heading for a culture shock when they hit the freezing temperatures of St Petersburg Russia. A task to re-code naval flag signals divides alliances.
The remaining teams make their way to Namibia in Africa and come face to face with the local wildlife. Tension is running high and threatens to turn physical between Kiwis Jono and Johnny.
The remaining teams make their way from Cambodia to Thailand on foot and then have to deal with a long bus ride to get to their destination.
After a relaxing night's rest, the teams travel from New Zealand to Siem Reap in northwestern Cambodia.
The new teams, made up of five Australian teams and five New Zealand teams, begin their journey at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
