Who Wants To Marry My Dad was a NBC-produced reality show that aired in the summer of 2003 and 2004. The point of the show was to have the children pick out a new bride for their father to propose to and marry. The show was a modest hit in ratings and returned for season two in 2004. The show was cancelled soon after ratings decreased compared to season one. Heidi Mueller, one of the daughters in season one, joined Passions after Who Wants to Marry My Dad?'s first season ended.

Who Wants to Marry My Dad? Season 1 Full Episode Guide
The last episode starts off with the kids eating a meal. Then everyone goes to the pool. Don and Christy are in the pool flirting. Feeling akward watching Don flirt, the kids take Christena to the trampoline to have some fun. Since the kids, are still unsure of who to pick to marry their dad they decide to talk to Don. He says he is attracted to Christy physhically but to Christena by mind and soul. Don the goes on a date with Christy. They go to a private room and talk. The kids are watching them on their tv. Don asks Christy what she thinks of the kids. She says Karla is very sweet and is like a mother. She says that Heidi has a lot of style and that the boys are cute and masculine. The kids then decide that they want to interview each women to get a better feeling about why they feel they should be chosen. Christena says that she would love for Don's children to meet her kids. She also says that she is very attracted to Don and thinks he is an amazing man. She then sta
In the fourth episode, three women are left to compete for Don and his childrens' hearts. Don takes the ladies on one-on-one dates. The kids also plan trips for the ladies which will require their patience, stamina, and effort. If the girls fail a required task, a ""dirty secret"" will be revealed about them. These trips include a paintball fight, fishing, and a trip to an amusement park. The family and the three finalists then eat chinese food together. Following the meal, fortune cookies are served. Each of the cookies has either a ""dirty secret"" in it or a good fact. Each of the women take a cookie and then must read the fortune aloud. A fax then arrives which says that the kids must choose two women who they feel are the least compatible with their father and have them take out the trash. The three ladies are interviewed and then two of them are chosen. The two chosen must also take a lie detector test. At the end of the episode, a contestant is eliminated leaving only tw
The siblings try to determine which of the contestants is vain and fastidious during a jaunt to the beach.
In the second episode, Don's four children must eliminate two women to make the total number of remaining contestants five. First, the ladies must to ""secret tasks"" which they must complete or ""dirty secrets"" will be revealed about them. Finally, Don spends one-on-one time with the ladies in the pool and then the kids decide which women will take the lie detector tests.
Don's children, Karla, Heidi, Joe, and Chris select 12 women to compete for their father. The contestants face a series of surprise lie detector tests. The ones that passed have to do another elimination process before they meet Don.
