The Uprising is a reality television show centering around the lives and ministry of Jay Haizlip, Brian Sumner, and Christian Hosoi. Together and with the help of many others, they use their collective backgrounds as professional skateboarders as they comb skate parks, backyard pools, and other hangouts in an effort to spread the Gospel of Christ. Committed to affecting the world around them, the trio shares their faith and hope with friends, drug addicts, and even police. Through their ministry and the show as well, cultural and religious boundaries are breached with an unconventional but truly biblical approach to ministry on a person to person level.

The Uprising Season 1 Full Episode Guide
With prior engagements scheduled for back in the states, Hosoi bids farewell, and Chris, Brian, and Pastor Jay head for London. As the Holy Spirit guides every step, the crew makes a stop in Somerset, where Brian demos and shares the Gospel.
With hopes of ministering across the Atlantic, Jay Haizlip, Christian Hosoi, Brian Sumner, and Chris Jones head to England in search of uncharted territory.
"Lords of Dogtown" icon Jay Adams experiences Gods handy work, and is released early from a 20 year prison sentence for good behavior. Christian Hosoi assembles the troops to welcome Adams home with a friendly reception.
Brian Sumner invites all the bros to a park session at West Minster. After some amazing skating and connecting with fellow pro Josh Harmony, the pack heads to LA. to meet up with Paul Rodriguez and Jereme Rogers to skate Pauls private facility.
Known for its rich culture and skateboarding history, San Francisco is a bustling city that is world renowned. Having no sooner landed at the airport, The Uprising team cuts loose as they minister the Gospel to a questioning young woman. Next, its off to Third & Army, a skateboarding hot spot where Pastor Jay immediately prays for a homeless drug addict. Reminisce with Richard Jefferson as he shares his story of growing up on the tough neighborhood streets of San Francisco, and listen to the redemptive work of the Cross in his life. Finally, celebrate with Christian, Brian, and Richard in honoring Pastor Jay Haizlips spiritual mentor as the guys attend a commemorative banquet.
