Caitlin and Taylor compete for the lead in the school play, and for Will.
Caitlin offers to baby sit Brett's little sister, Julie, while he is at football practice. When Julie hears her parents are selling her horse, she runs away. Caitlin tells Julie she felt the same way when she lost her mother, but Julie doesn't believe her.
Caitlin uses her camera as a science project. Someone destroys Griffen's science project, and he accuses Brett.
Caitlin gets the job at Dr. Truth, a radio program where teens call up to ask her questions. What does she do when she thinks someone she knows is in real trouble?
Caitlin, Griffen, Taylor, Nikki, Brett, and Jordon go camping pioneer style, and end up with no food.
Caitlin skips summer school to hang out with Will. Jim isn't very happy, but Dori understands. Griffen and Eric try to break a world record.
Caitlin and Taylor are both studying the art of self-defense. But when they fight in class they both lose it, and might not be able to come to class anymore. Griffen and Brett unearth a costly fossil. They can't decide who owns the fossil and it start to break apart their friendship.
Griffen gives snowboarding lessons, to everyone but his parents. Caitlin and Eric get trapped in a snow storm together.
The cows on Eric's ranch are getting sick. Caitlin helps him figure out why.
Caitlin wins a contest to see what her dream job is really like. Being so busy with entering the contest she forgets her mother's birthday. She doesn't want to take the prize, because she thinks soon she won't remember anything about her mother.
Eric steals one of Caitlin's poems to turn in so he doesn't fail English.
Caitlin knows someone from a popular band, she asks them to come to the school dance. While Griffen trys to work things out with Eric, Brett, and Jordon.
Caitlin gets her first photography job at Tremor a newspaper that wants to shake things up. Griffen trys to get Brett to buy high-priced shoes to win the High River Basketball Shoot-Off. When Caitlin needs someone to fill in for ""Blue"" she gets Brett to do it for the money he needs.
Caitlin wants to find her dad. Dori and Jim have an aniversary party.
Caitlin is afraid to get back on Bandit after he throws her off.
Caitlin protests the new principal's rules. Griffin finds out the girl he likes is the new principal's daughter.
Caitlin and Taylor go shopping together for a present for their teacher. Griffen, Brett, and Eric need a new apilfer for their band. In the end they all try to help a little boy.
This episode is a two parter. It's Caitlin's first birthday living in Montana. Will and his mother move into town. They think Bandit is their colt that ran away four years ago. Caitlin is heart broken to think she might lose Bandit forever.
