Nicholas is having a rough day and finds solace in Suze, which leads Genevieve to test Nicholas.
It’s Barb’s birthday and, of course, she’s depressed. Genevieve takes her to a party in the woods to attempt to turn things around.
Much to the chagrin of the family, Matilda announces big plans. Suze has plans of her own and wants to rope in Nicholas for help.
Matilda and Drea plan to spend the night in the woods to prove their independence. Genevieve goes on her first date with Oscar, and it is mostly not awkward.
Genevieve gets a present from a boy while Matilda and Drea do some online shopping of their own. Nicholas and Drea have a heartfelt one-on-one.
Genevieve decides to put herself out there and gets an unexpected result. Meanwhile, Drea and Matilda reunite, and Nicholas discovers the meaning of unconditional love.
The family burns letters to Dad on the anniversary of his death. Alex tries to help Nicholas with his feelings, and it surprisingly works, sort of.
Matilda makes her girlfriend socially distance, and it’s atypically weird. Nicholas makes new friends, but Alex is not a fan.
The family is stuck at home and desperate for something to do. Matilda is in a dark place, but a phone call cheers her up. Meanwhile, Genevieve gets caught trespassing, digitally.
