Six high school boys hang out at a local convenience store where they talk about their daily lives. Haruki Mishima and Towa Honda are first year students looking forward to the high school experience. Alongside them, there’s Nasa Sanagi, the only member of the cooking research club. Natsu Asumi is a loner but has third year students, Mikado Nakajima and Masamune Sakurakoji, looking out for him.

Mishima Haruki and his friend Honda Towa begin attending Aokisora High School. While they each have a girl they're interested in, there are no signs of a relationship starting for either of them. As they awkwardly make it through each day, they meet their classmate Sasaki Nagisa and their seniors Asumi Natsu, Nakajima Mikado, Sakurakoji Masamune and others, and their thoughts and feelings begin to intertwine. It's the road everyone follows at least once, the story of a pure love racing through the moment.

Miharu is scheduled to take time off from school and transfers to another hospital for surgery; she feels both anxious about the upcoming procedure and sad to be moving away from her friends.

Summer vacation is over, and the Aozora Cultural Festival is approaching; after things went well with Mami at the fireworks display, Towa is delighted to be spending more time with her preparing for the festival.
