Desert Flippers Season 1 Full Episode Guide
Eric and Lindsey reach for the sky as their new purchase proves that big things come in small packages. After a fire sale purchase goes up in smoke, they set their sights on a quaint condominium. Hopes for a quick flip start to dwindle as a broken air conditioning unit raises the temperature and their budget. They call in a crane for some much needed assistance, but that's only the beginning for this commanding condo.
Eric and Lindsey bust into their new purchase and soon realize that it may have been boarded up for a reason. Spray painted walls, a sewage-filled tub, an unbearable stench and a blustery backyard all keep the buyers at bay.
A midcentury flip turns into a modern day nightmare as Lindsey and Eric uncover an unwelcome surprise behind a locked casita door. The budget balloons as they attempt to fix this sticky situation, but the property will need a big-time investment if they plan to turn a profit. Lindsey stands her ground on her open-concept design, but the unexpected costs may have the final say. Can buyers look past this home's checkered past to see its unique charm?
Things are looking up for Eric and Lindsey as they set their sights on a hilltop house. Closer inspection reveals that it will require a lot of effort to become king of the hill. A utility closet stands between Lindsey and her ideal open concept design, but Eric wonders if removing it will bring a return on investment and attract a buyer. It's a battle over the bottom line as they struggle between a balanced budget and big time design.
Eric and Lindsey discover loose change all over their new purchase, and they'll need every bit to help them get through this flip. They may have planned for a minimal renovation, but a leaky pipe and rotting roof quickly add dollars to their budget, and the flip must go on. The costs quickly climb as they try to pinch every penny, but going big on design might be the only way to squeeze a profit out of this flip.
A house that's stuck in the past is brought into the future. But not without a few obstacles along the way, including surprise leaks, a landscaping blunder and unwanted guests in the kitchen.
Eric and Lindsey take on a Tuscan villa with a gutted kitchen, an in-ground pool that's plagued with pests, and overgrown landscaping. During the renovation, they deal with costly mistakes and supply shortages, which lead to unwanted frustration and a ballooning budget.
Eric and Lindsey buy a Palm Springs property sight unseen, but once they get inside they see that it's been trashed by squatters and inhabited by scorpions. The only way to make a profit is to gut the home and start fresh, adding extra dollars to their budget. Lindsey is optimistic that they can make the money back by adding a bocce court and making one bedroom into a casita, but the clock is ticking as her due date is fast approaching. Can they turn this home into paradise before the new baby arrives?
