It is time for the Mexican government to announce which country they will sign an agreement with. The ambassador must take a stand while Andreas alerts code red when he realizes that the ambassador has disappeared.
While the ambassador tries to change the definition of peace, Isabelle Axel learns how to toughen up. The Secretary of State arrives with an offer that could lead all the way to Washington.
While waiting for an important decision from the Mexican government regarding the agreement, a mysterious envelope forces the ambassador and Andreas to spend time together in their office.
At the National Day party, the ambassador tries to approach the Minister of Defense at the same time as an unwanted guest shows up. Andreas is working on a speech, but the ambassador constantly wants improvements.
When the foreign minister does not show up, the ambassador believes that he is the one who will give the official offer to the Mexicans. Someone from the ambassador's past makes him question himself.
The agreement with the Mexicans may have been jeopardized by a spy. While this is a disaster for Andreas, the ambassador sees this as a perfect opportunity to gain an advantage and uses Andreas as bait.
The possible deal with Mexico is falling apart and the staff has to come up with a new plan. The ambassador must also figure out how to stop "Women and Climate and Peace".
While the ambassador is trying to impress a reporter, a bus crash results in the interview changing direction. At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hears about "Women and Climate and Peace" and wants an explanation.
The ambassador is planning an event at the embassy to impress several important Mexican ministers. Ronja also takes the ambassador to an orphanage and encourages him to read to the children.
To improve Sweden's chances of reaching an agreement with the Mexican government, the ambassador gives a promise to a high-ranking military officer. It is also the first day on the job for a new employee.
