Kurokawa visits comatose Sakura, feeling guilty. Flashback to 2015: Sakura, excited about the bridge, learns of safety concerns and is asked to reassure locals. As she prepares for the meeting, her colleagues face personal challenges.
Sumire visits Sakura and recalls 2014 when she struggled with work and raising her daughter after a divorce. Balancing a demanding seminar project and family pressures, Sumire eventually breaks down under the strain.
Aoi visits Sakura in the hospital and remembers their 5th year at work when he won an award but felt pressured to rely on his father. Struggling with feelings of inadequacy, he confides in Sakura who encourages him to confront his father.
Rentarou visits Sakura’s hospital room and recalls an event from their fourth year. Struggling with stress after failing an important exam, Rentarou overhears colleagues mocking him, and in a fit of anger he accidentally injures Sakura.
Yuri recalls a time when Sakura's bluntness upset a client, causing office tensions. The following day's earthquake exacerbated Yuri's personal struggles, leading her to plan to marry someone she didn’t truly love.
Kikuo visits Sakura, still unconscious in her hospital bed, and reflects on a pivotal moment during their second year at the company when she challenged authority after being tasked with reducing unnecessary overtime.
